We did indeed and Laurent , if you add Campbell , Wilmot , to that arguably all four are in our best 11 right now ajd Stevenโs has been in some of our better performances itโs half a team missing

I donโt really get the negativity. You can see the influence Schumacher has had already. We are so much more positive. Unfortunately thereโs a good chunk of the squad who donโt have the required fitness levels to play how he wants . Add the fact that thereโs so many games in such a short space, he obviously felt the need to look after certain players (Mmaee, Burger & Tchamadeu). Iโm on board, itโs infinitely better that what weโve witnessed under Neil. I'm on board generally and I like our more positive approach. But 10 men isn't an opportunity you get often and we really should have been going for it. By a considerable distance our two best players tonight were Mmae and Burger. We were starting to build up a head of steam and looking threatening. Why on earth we took that to be the moment to take both of them off lord only knows. It handed the momentum over to them and we were a total mess for the rest of the game. Needs to learn quickly from this. We got away with one tonight.

Itโs a game thatโs come within a busy period so I can forgive us for not capitalising. If the starting eleven play the whole 90, we win that, but we had to make subs with Ipswich in mind which I am looking forward to hugely. Theirs wheels appear to be wobbling slightly and I think we could do them some damage.
Playing against 10 isnโt always easy and we still had 3 excellent chances to win it. I donโt subscribe to us being bad when they went down to 10, we were just too sloppy. Last 10 was disappointing.

It's crazy,we had a better chance of winning against 11 players. we were rushing everything vs 10, like it was urgent to score immediately Thatโs what I meant with my IQ/thick post! There was a passage of play on around 82mins where we just kept booting the ball out blind to their midfield. All it needed was to be calmed down and played out with the man advantage but we kept repeating it and letting them in. Like I said, thick as fuck some/most of them.

The only positive is the manager has seen first hand just what he has to work with and what he has to move out, starting next week. Thank the lord for Wouter Burger and Ryan Mmaee. As soon as he took them pair off it was game over

Solid point towards 50 and infested the worst after the sending off , heโs made absolutely bizarre subs tonight but is certainly making a better fist of a poor squad then his predecessor did hopefully it will be enough to see us safeย Junior had to come off, on a yellow Hoever played well I thought Burger clearly has a stamina issue, rarely plays 90 minutes, that's got to be worked on Pearson went off injured, perhaps Sol should come on but DJ experience however thought he was poor Wes sub didn't work at all

It's light years better than under Neil, way more fluid and incisive, still think we lack pace out wide and a bit more power in midfield.

The only positive is the manager has seen first hand just what he has to work with and what he has to move out, starting next week. Thank the lord for Wouter Burger and Ryan Mmaee. Although he tired towards the end Haksabanovic was a big positive as well, and despite being sloppy in possession at times I thought Bae Junho grew into the game and worked his socks off. Vidigal is a worry, I hope it's just a lack of confidence as he looks weak as piss at the moment...... I'm struggling with the confidence angle after scoring the goal he did just the other day. I just see a winger that doesn't work back, is hit and miss in possession, weak in the challenge and hasn't got a single cross in him. If he isn't scoring goals he's offering nothing to the team and I wonder how a team at this level can carry that long term? Haksabanovic was bang average tonight but even had a good hand in the equaliser.

Baker is slow, weak and generally piss poor, the back up players by and large added nothing, Watford were probably the worse team to go down to 10 men, they are very pacy in transition and at times looked a real handful. Their defence would run through a brick wall too, whereas ours would try and run around it.

Good point โฆ poor second half โฆ really sloppy in possession To many finished players in the squad โฆ baker , Gayle, Johnson, Stevens โฆ.. to be honest itโs embarrassing Gotta have the bollocks to play the youngsters sometimes Now heโs seen them he knows what we know so 2/3 in during the window and hopefully a few back from injury and we wonโt see much of the players you mention above

I'm working on the principal that a month ago we'd have lost that game 2-1 even against 10 men...glass half full.

Watford pundits have been a complete biased joke. I loved it when they kept arguing that their player kicked McNally, which deserved a red card, but because the ref didnโt see it and then their player immediately elbowed McNally, which the ref did see, that their player didnโt deserve a red card ๐

I thought we were a bit naive playing against 10 men ,trying to rush things ,trying to play intricate little one twos that never came off and in the end could have easily lost it.
The subs killed us .I can only assume he had one eye on the Ipswich game and protected Burger and Mmaee and hoping their replacements would be enough. Well now he knows. All the subs ,Wesley ,Hoever ,Johnson and Baker were garbage.
4 points from the 2 away games isn't too shabby though I suppose.

Lacked a bit of cutting edge when Burger went off. Johnson & Hoever miles off it. Pearson poor. Don't trust our 2 cb's. Always hard trying break down 2 banks of 4.
Onto Monday.

FFS they are still moaning, since he arrived we have looked a decent team, played 3 drawn 2 won 1....tonite after the sending off maybe we should have won but don't forget a side that goes down to 10 men digs in, plus they lost 4-1 at home last game so will be up for it.

Funny old game
Should we have kept on our better players and got 3 points knowing that would leave us at a disadvantage against Ipswich ?
If we beat Ipswich obviously not but anything less than 3 points and it does bring some of the substitutions into question
Other players coming on though such as Johnson and Baker really let him down badly - they were both utter garbage

Could easily have lost so take it but not great.
Midfield was no existent as pre Schu days but enforced a bit, Baker way off fitness.
Think he took Junior off to avoid a second yellow but missed Gooch and Thompson in the middle. They're a powerful side and good wingers Porteous would have done us just fine, good solid defender.
Didn't deserve to win it.
Play Pearson midfield v Ipswich and we lose

Very mixed feelings. Happy with the point but gutted we didn't utilised 11 vs 10.
Strange feeling and seems I'm not an only one. But 3 points against Ipswich would be a massivel help!

Desperate isnโt he, kept passing it backwards and slowing the game down. Hoever just as bad. Hoever looked like heโd been plucked from the crowd and given a stoke kit. What's happened to Hoever - looks like he doesn't want to be here and likely needs sending back in January

Decent point, our passing was miles off all night and most of them were dead on their feet towards the end.
The subs pretty much killed any chance we had of winning and Watford looked to more likely to score.
