Great result but surely a blind man can see this two should be in for Johnson and Hoever. "Vis Unita Fortior"

Couldn’t believe it when I read the team sheet at 2 and saw he’d dropped Junior. That said, I thought Hoever did very well today against a quality winger in Clarke.

Great result but surely a blind man can see this two should be in for Johnson and Hoever. "Vis Unita Fortior" Johnson had a poor game today but he’s a manager favourite who will play most weeks,Hoever looked knackered/injured at the end of the game and I can see Junior or Gooch playing on Wednesday night

They are both a big part of our future.
Rightly or wrongly Neil seems to want to ease them in gently. Junior is presumably destined to replace Hoever as first choice next season when his loan has finished.
Both Junior and Junho look ready to be starting though and you would think there chances are going to come

Be interesting to see the stats, but looked like Clarke beat him more in the one on ones. Edit - He also completely left him for the goal. If he’d have sprinted back he’d have intercepted it.

I suspect both of them might start Wednesday.

He will only start Junho in games we aren't meant to win. It's going to be a long frustrating season with him sat in the dark cause it's obvious the gremlin doesn't fancy him at all

Clarke has improved and developed significantly since he came to us. Although he played during the lockdown season and none of us actually saw him “live” as it were, he’s clearly filled out physically and looks one of the better players in the division. I can’t think of many times that he got the better of Hoever, and the goal came as a result of a poor pass out by Rose, and Travers palming the shot straight into Clarkes path. Poor goalkeeping for me.

Johnson has been poor so far. Although our second came from a corner, his set pieces have been generally dismal.

Absolutely.
It makes no sense.
Johnson was diabolical today.
And Hoever just can’t defend. Play our own player.

More than happy if Junho plays there Haksabanovic or Junho, either is fine by me Bayern said DJ was diabolical, can't agree with that but he's clearly not going to score or make many goals Thompson, Gooch, DJ all handy bench players If the rumour re Laurent and Italian club was true wish we had sold him and signed Onahma instead Perhaps Laurent could be moved on in January? Then there is Baker will he play for Stoke again?

But he does it every time. His set pieces on the whole were atrocious. His best pass in a Stoke shirt set them up. He should have been hooked at half time.

If you can't put a ball on a plate to a striker from there then you shouldn't be a professional.

It really wasn’t a parry though was it, you know, a shot hit at you that you don’t deal with. It was across him and well hit. He had to make a save, he did, he was entitled to expect support from his defence after he kept it out, only our full back was 30 Yards away, despite HIS man tapping in the rebound. Not brilliant, but definitely not on Travers! What about the two lads with twisted blood after their number 10 made them look stupid (Stevens and Rose?)

Clarke has been ripping the league apart, Hoever did well against him overall and couldn’t be blamed for the goal as he was pushing on as required to. Let’s not forget Junior was at fault for Leicester’s first goal. He is the future but Hoever is ahead of him all round currently

I thought he should have held on to it. No doubt Hoever has to actually be by his man though. He’s a crap defender though.

I think that it is probably part of AN negotiating three difficult games in a week.
There is bound to be some rotation.
For example, it would not surprise me if Junior plays against Leeds where we will probably have a lot of defending to do.
Personally, I think that Jun-Ho should be starting. Maybe we are just bedding him I slowly.
