This is all about putting pressure on officials in Liverpool games. Klopp is an arsehole and always was. The media love-in can't disguise what other clubs experience with him. Already feeling sorry for Brighton who are at home to Liverpool this weekend Enormous and unfair pressure on the officials for this game Possibility that the HS2 decision might be more important in the north west this morning ?

I mean that audio is shocking, how can you get it this wrong. Complete incompetence It is However we have not had the opportunity to listen to any other var conversions so maybe other indecisive moments happen more frequently Hopefully more accurate outcomes in the future which will be to everyone’s benefit Hopefully we get to hear these conversations more often, ideally in real time as it’s happening. That’s ultimate transparency at the end of the day

I wonder if this was really the first time this type of mistake has been made, misinterpreting the on field decision. We may never know.
I do think because it was a big game of Sky and Webb being in charge is more open to make the decision to go public.

If only AN would do the same. It's about time he put some pressure on officials. Klopp has his teams back I can't fault him for that.

If we had the bulk of decisions going our way I don't think the fans or management team would give a shit about how it affects other teams.

Just watching Aberdeen v HJK, an Aberdeen player clearly gets elbowed in the face, he's down for a couple of minutes getting treatment, cut on the side of his head, plenty of time for VAR to look at it, but nothing was done at all.

Another pathetic VAR cock up in the Wolves game yesterday, never a pen in a million years, the Newcastle player clearly dived and no contact yet, not overturned. A clear and obvious error actually backed by VAR after 5 minutes of stills from different angles.

I haven't been watching much top flight football recently due to, well, the obvious, but that incident does make you wonder what the point of playing 90 minutes is as opposed to just drawing straws beforehand to find out the result. What seems to happen is that the ref gives the foul because he's kind of seen it but isn't sure, then the VAR team feel they have to back him up so as to not make him look silly/bring the role of referee into disrepute. We all sat there watching maybe a dozen replays clearly showing neither player making contact with each other, as the VAR team try desperately to find *something* to overturn the decision, but are unable to. The standard of proof for awarding a penalty really is through the floor right now, due to the above. More guilty until provent innocent than innocent until proven guilty. It's one thing for a referee to guess a little in real time - it's a tough job. But quite another for VAR teams to show categorically that nothing happened, and still give the foul due to little more than social pressure. It's enough to drive you quite mad. 'The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command'.

Every Journalist should crucify Klop and Liverpool at every presser. They should highlight every EPL VAR Fuck up and ask if he / Liverpool agrees with the game being replayed? Never let them live it down. Their arrogance and lack of self-awareness is unequalled. Fuck Klopp. Fuck Liverpool. The U.K. hating subversive wankers. 😂🖕🖕🖕

It's kinda funny cause it's against Utd but yesterday's peno for City was soft, even more so when you think back to the Wolves lad that got full kn assaulted by Onana which wasn't a pen.

A clear and obvious error actually backed by VAR after 5 minutes of stills from different angles. A few years ago on MOTD sheep shearer made a comment about dives. He justified them by saying that a player, to avoid a potential injury, is entitled to dive out of the way of a mistimed tackle and therefore a foul should always be given. The same imbecile that said a player is entitled to fall to the ground under any physical contact.
