We scored with 20 minutes to go. If we'd have got a second, it could have been a grand finale....the game was alive again at 3-1.[ Are you on glue? I haven’t heard that line of questioning since the 90’s🤣

If I pay good money to watch Stoke and I think their performance is piss poor with no effort shown I'll be booing whether anyone else likes it or not.

AN is not shrouding himself in glory to be fair but I've sniffed it for a while, this goes beyond the managers. They ain't all shit, they can't be. Something is wrong further up the chain of command. There is no other explanation.

Are you saying that the Board are picking the team, or telling the players how to play, or not giving the Manager the players that he says he wants, or setting the team up to play formations that they aren't comfortable with, or playing players out of position. What is it?

On what planet ever in the history of time does booing your own football team make us play better? We’ve been generally awful for a few years, you lot pay your hard earned money to watch that crap, they’re all on a fortune, it’s our right to booo blah blah blah, Our fans are easily the most negative toxic fans in the country. It’s embarrassing and other teams must piss themselves coming to play at our ground. “Come on lads, we get one here and this place will turn”. Really feel sorry for all the new lads that have just come in getting sold a tale of great fans and they then get royally booed constantly a few games in. Ever think that getting behind the team might actually make us play better and might make the opposition play worse? Just a thought. If you’re booing. Either get behind the team or stay at home because you’re the problem you negative bastards Have we booed our team into league 1?

Ever think that getting behind the team might actually make us play better and might make the opposition play worse? Just a thought. If you’re booing. Either get behind the team or stay at home because you’re the problem you negative bastards I know for a fact from a few years ago when one of our youngsters starting training with the first team (he now plays for Notts County) that a lot of the players didn't like playing at home due to how the crowd were. So for people to say it has no impact - it does. That means we were going into home games already with a negative mindset and it shows. But like other comments - it happens at most clubs, even those at the top when they hit a bad run of form. It is toxic, it doesn't help, and sometimes it gets confused with booing the ref at the end of games (we've had some shockers in this league to be fair - I dread the standard in L1), but re: the fans booing - if they've paid good money to go to the game, yes I know it's to support the team, but if they don't like what they see, or how the club is progressing, then any fan has a right to vent their fustrations. Football should be an escape, entertaining, enjoyable. How many games since relegation have given us anything like that? I think part of the problem is the fans are as lost as the club now. Remember when we first got promoted to the Prem, we'd give the opposition hell (jeer, whistle, boo every touch, and support our lads) it was immense. We're a long way from fixing anything at the moment. We've just got to stay in this league now and the fans can play a part in that. I love to boo a ref/opposite players/bad decision...but when Stoke are bad I'm just disapointed with them. The bas!@%ds

Football should be an escape, entertaining, enjoyable. It should, but when there's a 33% chance your team will lose at every game, I'm not sure entertainment and joy is the main thing when becoming a fan. Tribalism is. The feeling of banding toghether for a common cause. The cheering of our team and booing of the other (remember the last time we actually took any frustration out on the visiting team? I don't, it's been ages.)

I think conceding basic goal after goal within the first 20 minutes of kick off (before any booing commences) is probably more of the reason to be honest. How many people were at Stoke versus Birmingham? Yet the twats still managed to concede two pathetic goals.

We do seem to overdo it a bit on the booing. I go all the home games and although I can't remember specific incidents there's been so many times this season where we've been doing "OK" and fans have booed them off. I think to myself every time - "why are these idiots booing the lads, we're not even playing that poorly or we're only losing 1-0 from a bit of bad luck or whatever". Every single time the booing ends up with the players playing even worse after the break. All fine and well to boo at the worst times but it seems we boo them now for anything. We are shit and we are struggling, it's not the fans fault we're in this position but we aren't helping the team by turning on them so easily

I’ve seen the Coates family putting everything into the club… I’ve watched the fans become entitled pricks who boo at the slightest thing. It’s a far cry from the bear pit atmosphere that turned the favourites to go down in to a 10 year premier league club.

I don’t think Walters, Whelan, Huth, Shawcross or Wilko would let disgruntled fans turn them into jelly.

If the players have been taking it to heart and assumed its aimed at them then perhaps it's more a guilty conscience!

It's actually insulting.
The fans deserve a medal for still turning up as they do after the shit we've been served over the past 7 years.
