In the Premier league. How many do you think he would score playing at the level of Thorne and Biggins? If play3in the same team they did.. Probably less, and I rate Wslters I rate all three of them. I just think walters was good enough to play in the Premier league 200 plus times and could likely have scored a bag full playing in the 3rd tier.

No love for Michael Owen then? Greatest striker ever to play for Stoke

Walters had far more quality supporting him and providing the chances than Thorne/Biggins could ever dream of. Walters spent a big chunk of his Stoke career on the wing and even when playing upfront had much more defensive responsibilities than Thorne or probably (I'm too young to remember) Biggins.

This list would be fine if it was called "12 random forwards in no particular order" and it would be even better if Keith Bertschin was in it. Best celebrator definitely. Probably the best in world football.

Would it have been that hard to Google pictures of all the players and at least have them in our kit?
Still, credit to the author for getting clicks

Haven't seen anyone mention Frank Bowyer, one of Stoke's greatest inside forwards of all time. Him & Dobin should deffo be up theŕe with Ritchie, Steele & Greenhoff. A lot of the people being mentioned couldn't lase there boots.
