Brilliant. Best Preston player on the pitch. No idea what they paid for him, but we need one.

Booked Pearson after 45 seconds, knew from that moment we had a cunt.

Lindsay got pulled up for 3 shirt pulls before his first booking, that mads also got let off 3 times before his also. The penalty was a joke. Not a chance that's a penalty. I hope he traps his dick in his zipper, absolute throbber

How come we never get refs like the one Millwall had last week? I'm not buying this 'don't want to be seeing to be giving in to the crowd' bollocks either, there was no problem in that regard at the Den.
There's an obvious agenda going on here and I'd like to know why, it's being going on for far too long now. We had enough of this shit in the Premier League against the money clubs, it shouldn't be happening against dreck like Preston, Millwall et al. We're supposed to be the money club here.

I know I’m biased but I thought he was shocking. Saying that, if you watch the replay of the pen from his angle it looks much worse. As for the rest, he was laughable

It’s the inconstistancy that’s the problem. He let them waste time without any punishment. Failed to book them for clear bookable challenges (the shirt pull in the first half being the most obvious). The pen was a shocker the cheat flipped himself into the air.

I thought the penalty was iffy. Iffy. That's being very generous. Shambolic decision, the guy ran into Burgers leg and dived 6ft in the air. God knows he fares with gusts of wind.

I didn't disagree with that yellow in itself. The issue is he didn't apply the same criteria for the rest of the match. If he had, it's possible the match would've been abandoned as PNE had less than the required number of players on the pitch

Diabolical pen decision, was a yellow for the dive but let's be honest, we were never going to win that

Booked Pearson after two minutes as a show of intent that silly fouls wouldn’t be tolerated. Then completely ignored similar infringements for the next 88 minutes. Gave a dubious penalty then ignored a blatant shove in the back on Wes
Absolutely fecking useless
But let’s face it it’s every week

Beginning to think the refs will only improve if they know there's a chance someone might lose their shit and run on and lamp them.

You can argue that the Pearson challenge was a worthy booking and that’s fine but only if you apply the same consistency throughout the match and he failed miserably, some Preston players were getting away with murder.

Beginning to think the refs will only improve if they know there's a chance someone might lose their shit and run on and lamp them. I've said for a while that the first time some club takes some corrupt bent referee to court, the whole landscape will change. If that today had been the difference between us going up and staying in the Championship, I reckon you would have a solid legal challenge. Sadly, we're not as nasty as a football club as I'd like us to be. I'd have PI's going through this cunts bins. I'd be looking to destroy the cunts career. Eye for an eye.

Pearson just stupidly kicked him for no reason right in front of us. It was clear as daylight. The player was no danger, in his own half Pearson could have run alongside him, there was plenty of defensive cover and Pearson just decided to kick his ankle. Not just a tap either it was a proper deliberate kick which he might have been sent off for later in the game. Stoke don't need players to do that sort of thing, referees already go into matches thinking we are cloggers. Pearson must have had a lunch of raw meat.

Nobody else deliberately kicked another player. I agree he was appalling and from where I sat it didn't look like a penalty. EDIT having just watched the highlights the ref had such a clear view of the penalty incident and for some reason doesn't understand the laws of gravity never mind the laws of football. If someone is brought down he doesn't go three foot in the air first. There has to be some sort of bias and an apology and explanation would be appreciated

Not the reason we lost BUT he was garbage from start to finish Technically mate he was the reason we lost. He gave them a penalty that wasn't which kick started their second half. I agree we didn't ever look like winning but by the same token we didn't look like losing either.
