Travers Hoever McNally Wilmot Stevens DJ Pearson Laurent Ryan Wes Andre
Still in the experimental stage, still look weak defensively on our right side. In fact there's holes and doubts all over that need filling! 😬
Comfortable 2-0 home win! Wes, Ryan!
Forecast: cloudy,sunny 22 degrees!

Keep the same side, need get the team to gel together. I’d probably say bring in Wesley then move Mmae out wide but that’s about it. Touch wood but I can’t see Watford causing as many issues as Ipswich.

I think I'd maybe start with something like this;
Travers
Hoever McNally Wilmot Stevens
Pearson Laurent Johnson
Chiquinho Wesley Vidigal
Wouldn't surprise me to see Mmaee start uptop instead of big Wes though as we're at home.

Travers Hoever McNally Wilmot Stevens Pearson Sidibe Johnson Mmaee Wesley Vidigal I think it'll be this but with Laurent in there instead of Sidibe, he isn't going to drop his captain four games in.

They had us in their pockets twice last season, can this new squad of ours turn the tables on them?

Was just reflecting on what a rancid game he had last weekend. He owes us big time tomorrow along with a few others

It would be surprising if he did especially as he hasn’t been disappointing in all of them. Mmaee has been disappointing in each game he’s played so if he keeps his place Laurent would be hard done by to lose his especially as the midfield in general was dross vs Ipswich.

Watford look strong as always, I can't see how we can get that same bunch that produced that performance against Ipswich to turn in a performance good enough to beat watford but if we manage to beat this bogey team of ours it will give everyone a huge lift.

One of those games I just can't see us winning. They are always strong and mobile and cause us problems - something we need to catch up on. Fingers crossed for a good performance.
1-1 draw.

Saying that we never win our first game of the season do we.....???? UTMP

Can see them being way too strong for us. Last week we were terrible in the middle of the park and AN talking re momentum, we beat Rotherham. We can play in the final third and liked the look of Wesley when he gets on the ball but had little chance at Ipswich.
We need Pearson and Laurent to be at it as both were awful last week. You never know though.
I'm going to have a Cornetto and watch On the Buses

It's a good early test of our home fabric tomorrow after spectacularly failing the early away test. Think we might just pass this one but midfield will be key. If they all turn up like last weekend forget it. If they turn up like Rotherham we'll be fine.
Interesting spot I've noticed at Watford is Sierralta at CM/DM. Normally a giant of a centre half. Will be curious to see him there.

Why is Wilmot undroppable on most people’s predicted lineups?
I’d happily see Rose and McNally given a go together.

Since we've been down we always try and go toe-to-toe with them, open up, and they just pick us off, and our back line is always caught too high up the pitch, and too slow to catch them.
We should try and be a bit clever here, let them have the ball more, sit deeper and try and hit them on the counter. Don't be naive again.

Wesley still isn’t fit enough for a full 90 so I’d go with the same team again but tell the midfielders to actually turn up for work this time.

Travers
Hoever Wilmot Mcnally Stevens
Pearson laurent Johnson
Mmaee Wesley vidigal
Big wes deserves to start. Vidigal has made himself undropable for now. Midfield 3 picks itself. Mmaee, benefit of the doubt for now but Chiquinho on his tails.
