Why is Wilmot undroppable on most people’s predicted lineups? I’d happily see Rose and McNally given a go together. The manager likes him, I don't see him being dropped any time soon unless we splash the cash on someone.

Yes the last 8 home games against them we’ve W1 D2 L5 😳 The one win was in a Premier League game just into the new year Oh dear! Watford look strong as always, I can't see how we can get that same bunch that produced that performance against Ipswich to turn in a performance good enough to beat watford but if we manage to beat this bogey team of ours it will give everyone a huge lift. Agree what you say about Watford. Their big, strong, athletic and fast. this is a game we have to match them physically. Let's see who can do it at stoke on a Saturday afternoon.

In our last 4 matches v Watford including todays game, Watford will have had 4x different managers in charge for each match. Obviously tomorrow will be Ismael, prior to that it was Chris Wilder in the final game of last season. Prior to that at our place it was Bilic in charge. & the match prior they'd have had Xisco Munoz in charge! Wonder who they'll have in the dugout for our match at Vicarage Road later in the season?! 🤔

I think most of the team will be just like Saturday, but McNally must start and so must Wesley. I also think Tymon deserves to have a go after Stevens' performance against Ipswich. Mmaee is also a question as he certainly doesn't deserve to start after the Ipswich game, but on the other hand he needs to play if we are going to see the best of him. From this I guess the team will line up like this:
........................Travers........................ Hoever...........McNally........Wilmot..........Tymon ...........Pearson...................Laurent........... ........................Johnson........................ Mmaee...................Wesley..................Vidigal
Chiqinho deserves to start before Mmaee though!
Subs: Bonham, Rose, Stevens, Macari?, Sidibe, Thompson, Chiqinho, Gayle.

42% Stoke 28% Draw 30% Watford
Be the reverse if we were away, home advantage is still a thing despite perfect pitches, identikit stadia, the gentrification of the audience and TV rather than the home crowd being the ultimate arbiter of refereeing decisions.

I was surprised we're favourites, bookies don't seem to factor in recent history, bogey teams! 6/5 12/5 9/4 9/4 seems very big but I'm not a billionaire betting mogul! 😂

A win and we're back on track.
Another loss and all the positivity of a couple of weeks ago will be eroded.
It a sense, it's quite a big game.
0-0.

Early days but in essence it's at least 'mustn't lose'. Folks are quietly bubbling under, back to back rinsings and the thought 'all that glitters isn't gold' will become increasingly front of mind with many. For what it's worth I think will finish in a draw.

Travers Hoever Mcnally Rose Stevens
Pearson Laurent Johnson
Mmaee Wesley Vidigal
Watford are a big strong side, so I would bring in Rose for Wilmot for this one.

I’d be pretty happy with that but I’ll also be pretty surprised if it comes to be. I don't see Tymon starting, probably not Wesley either. I’d like to have a look at a bit more of Chiqinho but don’t think there’s any deserves about it. McNally for Rose I do foresee, think that might be it tbh.

Because as I've said, Watford are a physical side and that Rose having a bigger frame and supposedly better aerially would in my opinion be more suited to this particular fixture. 👍

There’s having an opinion and basing it on nothing credible.

I should have included Wesley, felt a bit sorry for him and tried to make things happen the odd time he saw the ball. Wilmot put in 2 or 3 potential goal saving challenges. He did ok for me with no protection for the back 4. Need to step it up big time today before it turns into last season and the AN excuse book again
