I’ve been surprised by the criticism aimed at him. Really? Yes, I think he’s generally looked quite good. A low bar when compared to our previous custodians admittedly.

He’s been absolutely fine, although I’ve been a tad disappointed in his distribution so far. We’ve got one of the best keepers in the league in Travers. I’ve been surprised by the criticism aimed at him. Would have been 5 but for his saves second half.

Trust is probably the biggest element between a keeper and defence and it’s not there yet I don’t think. But after time to bed in and a solid couple of signings I’m sure it’ll be hunky dory

Perhaps based on the number of shots he faced? He lost us the game on Saturday. As soon as we went 1-0 down, it was over. However, out of that back 5, only Wilmot and Hoever know each other. Even then, they were on opposite sides of the defence and haven’t played that often together. Eventually, they will click. It would have been better if they’d have had a preseason together. He lost us the game? Yeah. He didn’t make any save that looked that challenging for someone of his standard. We were under the cosh and he could have collected a fairly straightforward high ball into the box. He didn’t and we went 1-0 down. It was pretty much over at that point. That’s how Championship games often play out. Stupid mistakes that lead to the first goals are often decisive because the opposition rarely has enough quality to break down a team that isn’t going for it. I’m still not worried. He will build experience with his defensive unit. I don’t think he will be a big problem for us this season.

I wrote last week that we have an issue with crosses in or hear the far post. Three of the last four goals conceded (including Everton) have been crosses from right to left deep in the box. Travers seems to be unable to command his six yard area very effectively. Hopefully this will change.

Sarkic came for everything but flapped this guy stays stuck to his line

Thought he played ok and not sure Bonham would’ve dealt with some of the Ipswich shots on goal in the second half.

I like him.
Think he will be a good keeper for us .
We could really use a Robert Huth style centre half who just heads away, corner kicks and free kicks , but so could every team in the league.
Great shot stopper .
Coming for crosses and corner kicks , we might have to wait and see .

That save he made around I think 75 mins or so I think won us that game. It was phenomenal, when the Watford player had it I assumed it was going to be a goal, but he reacted quickly and palmed away to safety. Well played today.

What was more impressive was how he parried it away safely in-between 2 Watford players. Its a small thing but our keepers last season would've parried that straight to a Watford player

Top draw save. Match winning. That's when you know you have a top keeper, wins you points with saves like that after been largely untested

His save in the first half was more impressive. Quick to get down low and keep the ball from slipping away.

Looks a very good shot stopper which will win us a fair number of extra points over the season.
His distribution could be better but I'll take that.

Best game he’s had for us today. Faced one difficult shot and parried it far out wide.

Great game today.
If Bonham was in goal that game is 1-1 and we are hanging on.
Travers earned us 2 points with his saves.

That one handed save was class. My MOM today. 2 big saves when we needed them. Second far better then the first but that’s 2 points gained because of him
