I’m sick of hearing about them. From the media jizzfest I’d assumed they’d won the champions league final months ago. "Jealousy is an ugly emotion, because it is based on fear. I like Wrexham FC.But along with Cardiff & Swansea they should be in Welsh league.
It's not going to happen, so I hope they move up the leagues whilst the other 2 drop below them.

I know Wrexham have high profile pre season games in the US .. but we’ve played both clubs in pre season games over the years .. be interesting if either are included in our pre season plans

They have a very good goalie for a non league team.
There are teams in the championship with a worse goalie than Ben foster.

I have to own up to being a huge cynic when it comes to the autheticity of celebrities particularly actors. But I have to say these two guys appear genuinely engaged with the club and town, fair play to them. But people saying they will go all the way to the championship is bizzare, Wrexham are a relatively small club from a small town compared to the likes of Sheff Weds, Derby and a couple who will always drop from championship to league 1 they will meet if they manage to get out of league 2. As for the hysteria around wrexham f.c generating huge interest to visit the town....don't go there it is, and always was a shithole. Nearby LLangollen, now thats a different story

Congratulations to Wrexham Club, it’s loyal, long-suffering supporters (and Johnny-Come-Latelies), and to their canny owners, who created such enthusiasm for the club among neutrals. Commiserations to Notts County, who pushed Wrexham almost to the end. I do hope that justice is done, and that County will progress through the play-offs.

Imagine getting well over 100pts (Notts Co) then getting a Rob Styles type fucking over in the playoffs and missing out. There would be riots.

Congratulations to Wrexham but spare a thought for Notts County. 106 points and a goal difference of +75 and not guaranteed to go up. Just hope they make it through the play offs. I also wish in a way it was Notts who got promoted as I am sick of the media jizzfest on Wrexham as well, but it will mean we are no longer the oldest club in the league if Notts win the play=offs (discounting Forest who has fiddle with their claim they are the oldest) ive noticed that Crystal palace have done the same saying they were formed in 1861

I live close to Wrexham and yesterday walking the dogs around the leafy lanes near Marford there were people out in Wrexham colours and a large amount of traffic on the lane where Ryan Reynolds may have bought a house. Loads of smiling faces and happy people. Yes it's getting overblown, but its a good news story which the area badly needed, its given everybody round here a lift. Good for them

Nearby LLangollen, now thats a different story Agree that Wrexham are historically a small club but I think you’re underestimating the power of social media in 2023. (and beyond) Wrexham now have an insane social media buzz and it shows no signs of slowing. In fact; even ignoring the money from their owners and all the Hollywood associated investment they’ll be able to attract as they move up the leagues, I think it’s likely that their social media revenue will give them a financial edge over basically every club in league 2 and many (if not all) in league one. They have 100s of 1000s of followers across the main social media platforms. And the signing of social media savvy Foster (whilst a top class keeper) seems to suggest they’re looking to further tap into that as part of their business model. 4 get promoted from league 2 so I’ll be shocked if they don’t just ride the wave and get promoted again next year. Then league one with some huge clubs is where it gets interesting I suppose as that’s a way bigger step up than conference to league two.

We should be on the phone to Dwayne 'the Rock' Johnson, offering a minor role on the board.

Well done. Can see them being in the Championship within a couple of seasons. Those Hollywood guys seem to know how to run a “soccer” club and galvanise a local community. Good luck to them They will now have to learn how to deal with FFP, which is a whole new different ball game. Each new division comes at a much more even cost:reward ratio as well. I imagine the money from Disney and other international TV stations will give them a financial edge over the likes of Swindon and Harrogate tbf.

Great days ahead for Wrexham with enthusiastic owners and supporters that are riding the crest of a wave. Nothing like that has happened to us for the last 7 years. It's just a toy for the Coates family now.

Not a big gan of Welsh teams in the English league. Cant see them doing much myself. A honeymoon period then a reality shock will hit them. USA backers will soon realise the cost of running a proffessional foitball club and will leave quietly. Visited the Racecourse ground a few times with Stoke and England. When wat hing England play Wales years past they dicked us 4-0 Mike England was their Manager. As with Stoke it was mixed rezults and a good day out on the beers with Stoke fans invading North Wales on some sort of crazy crusade. Press will soon forget them when the wheels start to come of the Wrexham band wagon. Good luck to old Stoke signing Foster. One last pay day for him is what is keeping hom going.
