Sometimes a match needs it’s own thread
Both on 100 points, both scored 106 goals and the best home record v the best away record
Amazing to think one of these 2 will miss out on automatic promotion

Whoever doesn't make automatic will probably miss out in the play-offs as well. That's how it normally works.
Massive game today at that level amd I'd imagine the atmosphere in and around that ground today will be mint.

The biggest game of the day is nonleague! 😁 And rightly so. It's bloody huge. I want Wrexham win. Always been a football town but loads of the locals were wank gloryhunters. Hollywood FC. Yeah OK. But if they'd put money into a Premier league club. Nobody would bat an eyelid. And its led to a resurgence of an old run-down club. There were times when Wrexham fans, like many fans these days, were seriously scared about his club being shut down. And it's good to see smaller clubs getting attention. Hopefully, the plan to get an extra automatic place comes to fruition next season. Also 100 points without going up is truly mind boggling 🫨

I don’t particularly have anything against them, I just think Wrexham are showing signs of bottling it right at the end. If they avoid defeat today they are in the box seat with a game in hand.

Yep that little green monster in everyone hoping that Wrexham fail. Personally I think it's a great story and hope they go up.

It seems absolutely insane to me that only two teams get promoted out of the league and only the league winner gets automatics.
Huge game. Don't hold anything against Wrexham but hope Notts go up. And it'd be funny if their PR signing of Ben Foster who hadn't caught a ball for 9 months since retiring (apparently) backfires. Apparently at fault on Friday for a goal at the near post.

Must admit I always look out for their results and hopefully they get automatic promotion or via the play off.

Always had a huge soft spot for the club since then. Loved the documentary and wish them all the best. Anything that can bring that much pride and interest into grass roots soccer and the surrounding community has to be win, win.

It isn't like Ryan Reynolds and his celebrity mate have bought a club, invested billions into it whilst sitting on the hills of Hollywood in their mansions sipping on their martinis, struggling to even spell Wrexham, is it?
They've got themselves properly involved in it. At most games. Learning and enshrining the culture. They seem like genuine fans of football. Best of luck to them. And that Reynolds fella seems like he knows how to build a successful business.
It's no different to Salford and look at them. Stagnating in League 2. But at least the owners have brought a new lease of life to the team.

I want County to win because I've always had a soft spot for them. Proper old club who have had some shit times and it's time they were back in the league. They are in non league whilst teams like Vale are in league one, it just doesn't sit right with me. I've got nothing against Wrexham, hopefully they do it in the playoffs though I fear whoever comes second will fail to do that. I've always thought it should be two automatically promoted and one in the playoffs from the conference as it's just not fair at all as this season will show. If you get one hundred points in a season you deserve to go up full stop yet one of those two clubs will not because of the setup of the league which needs looking into seriously.

I will be cheering for Wrexham
Two decent guys who have fallen in love with the foreign game (to them) of football and are proper owners. Not only investing money but their time as well.
It also helps that Ryan Reynolds is Canadian 😄
Massive game, will be using the split screen function today for sure!

Come on Notts County - hope they win today and win the league. Wrexham to go up through the playoffs. I agree with other comments that there should be 2 automatic promotion places, and a third via the playoffs.

Looking forward to watching this. Each team has already scored 106 league goals this season. Absolutely nailed on to be a 0-0 draw!

I am a Malpas lad and from there you lookout iver over the Dee valley to Wrexham with the welsh mountains beyond, a view you never appreciate until you move away, come on Wrexham.

Fail fans should be soaking in every minute of League 1 football and just be grateful they're there alongside Derby, Ipswich, Sheff Weds etc, especially when you look at bigger clubs like Bradford, Notts County and Wrexham being below them. They seem to think that they're a Championship club fallen on hard times when in reality they're no bigger than Walsall or Gillingham, traditional lower league clubs who sometimes get the occasional season or two in tier 2. They won at Derby and Plymouth this season, they should still be dancing in the streets of Burslem about that. Defeats to Accrington and Cambridge are going to happen to a club of Fail's stature.

There'll be uproar if both of these sides don't get promoted.
They should in theory with them being so far ahead of the rest, but psychology is a funny old thing.
In essence it's probably better for either if they know they're going to finish 2nd before the last game of the season. That way they'll be able to properly prepare for the play-offs.
