Notts County missed a 96th minute penalty, saved by Ben Foster...... apologies for being perhaps overly pedantic here, but it felt like he didn't really miss it so much as it was a fantastic save. It wasn't a bad pen at all, hit at pace and just inside the post. what a save though! It’s not the best pen you’ll ever see but it’s not bad, very decent save though

Wrexham should never be allowed in the EFL. It’s an English league. Kick out
Swansea and Cardiff too. The welsh hatred of the English doesn’t seem to stretch to being in our league.

Why it’s the EFL. You ever been to Borth. These fuckers hate the English I think they should let em all in. Rangers, Celtic etc and even those from some Northern Ireland backwater and call it the British league. That way it’s confirmed how utterly inferior they all are. It’s only fair

Agreed. I quite like the Welsh. Every time I talk to someone from Wales it’s like playing a game of charades.

I don’t see how we could bring all three into our league but I think the advent of a British Cup, or just remodeling of the League Cup, might be an interesting way to go. It would give those who love to travel away new places to go at least.

The first part is actually more correct than you know.... The Welsh for England is "Lloegr", which literally means the lost lands. The Second Roman invasion of Britain was 43-7 AD under Claudius. (After Julius Caesars' attempt in 55BC.) They stayed until just after 400AD..then fighting here , and the rampages against Rome meant they left really quickly. Britain left with no real Government, army or civil society. Wholesale invasions from Saxons, Picts, Angles, etc. Many of the people from what is now England moved to Wales (all attackers in the East from Denmark to what is now Belgium). The then Britons pushed the existing Welsh into the hills and Ireland. It kicked off again with the Vikings (nominally from 793 and Lindisfarne Abbey (not the band!).

A lot of love has been lost in the League Cup, shaking it up surely couldn’t be the worst? Games could start in preseason to figure out the increased fixture list.

I want County to win because I've always had a soft spot for them. Proper old club who have had some shit times and it's time they were back in the league. They are in non league whilst teams like Vale are in league one, it just doesn't sit right with me. I've got nothing against Wrexham, hopefully they do it in the playoffs though I fear whoever comes second will fail to do that. I've always thought it should be two automatically promoted and one in the playoffs from the conference as it's just not fair at all as this season will show. If you get one hundred points in a season you deserve to go up full stop yet one of those two clubs will not because of the setup of the league which needs looking into seriously. Even though the team that just missed out on promotion (regardless of division) often loses out in the playoffs it keeps the season exciting til the end and then the playoffs. The Nat league season would have been over months ago for the top half Ive not said get rid of the playoffs though, I said to make it two teams go up automatic and one in the playoffs as it is in our league. League one and league two it's three automatic and one in the playoffs. Think you must have misread my point there Salop.

Why it’s the EFL. You ever been to Borth. These fuckers hate the English Just before I send your request off to the EFL, your main reason for wanting Wrexham, Cardiff and Swansea kicked out of the football pyramid is because you've had a bad experience in a Welsh village that has a population of under 1500 people and whose main photo on their Wikipedia page is of a petrified tree stump? I wouldn't want to misrepresent what has so far been a well-balanced and water-tight argument.

What happens if you change it to 2 and then you get three teams that get 100 points? It’s harsh for a team like that to miss out but you can’t say it’s not fair.

So anyone left in England is either an immigrant or a collaborator (basically like the French😂)? Been to Wrexham many times, on a night out, it was always friendly and great! 😊

It looks to me to be a little bit too close to the keeper when seen from the camera behind the goal. Also at the right height for the keeper as well. It was hit with pace and Foster did well to stop it.

Just as a side note if Notts County fail to gain promotion back to the EFL as Champions or via the Play Offs, we'll remain the oldest football league club playing in the pyramid as things stand.

I didn't realise Wrexham had been down there that long, 15 years is ridiculous given their size.
