Yes, we are bad Yes, it is incredibly frustrating to support us
But come on, if you have supported Stoke longer than the Premier League years, to say this team is the worst we have had is beyond laughable!
If you don't know the names, Kofi, Martin or Clayton then you really have no idea as to how bad we have been

I'll count myself lucky then. I will never drop this team because that would be the easy thing to do.

So the younger supporters who haven’t seen a worse side than this have to accept it because some of the older supporters have seen worse sides?
It never ceases to amaze me how a section of our fan base are happy to just accept whatever shite is served up to them.

No, read the post Many have claimed this is the worst side ever, which is simply not true However, it may well be the worst they have seen but I have seen worse, much much worse

Just because we were once worse doesn't mean we should just accept any old shit now.
If its perspective you want then we have spent countless millions in transfer fees and wages since 2018 to be this bad.
At least when we were wank before we didn't have a pot to piss in.

There were more background reasons in the past ( no money , years in the doldrums etc ). This is a special level of rubbish - tons of money , 10 years in the PL .........and yet we manage to produce the talentless dross that appears so regularly even against spectacularly poor opposition. This feels kind of different to me.

We were always fighting to become something, wage budget was low, Stoke was never an attractive proposition.

We’ve had dogshit player recruitment for far too long now. Started with Jese and others in the Hughes era and has continued to be bad ever since.
Other clubs have proven at this level that you can be relatively successful with a limited budget but MON completely fucked it up.
The current squad is horrendous and Neil was never going to be able to solve it in this window. It’s always been a case of limping along until the end of the season when most of these wasters are out of contract and can be fucked off.
The question is now are Neil and the people he’s put in place going to recruit better in the summer than the last however many managers? It’s very much up in the air at the moment.

Yes, we have seen worse, but there is a uninspiring mediocrity about this team that is unsurpassed. I couldn't be arsed to use my ST last week, sorry. And I wasn't the only one either.

Kofi Nyama was probably on about £500 a week. Not an insignificant amount I'll grant you, and I wish I was earning that 25 years later, but Morgan Fox is on at least ten times that and he's not much better.
Pound for pound, this team is as bad as we've ever seen.

Look its been another disappointing performance. Having said that we were the better side (they were wank though). However for me the missing piece of the jigsaw is an alternative option upfront. We're screaming out for that big lad who's going compete with the centre halfs. Someone who's going be able old the ball up and bring the others into the game. Someone who the others can feed off the scraps of. And more importantly some who's going put it about the centre half's a bit. I know we've got issues but for me a good big number 9 would help sort us out. Might even stop us knocking it side to side at the back. Wilmott and Jags are crying out for someone to knock it upto.
