Are you talking to yourself? You realise that prestwichpotter and I are different people? Actually, that hadn't crossed my mind but since you mention it.. That would probably explain a lot đ

Your making general points about rape that arenât specific to the Greenwood incident, threads very often veer slightly off-piste before getting back to the topic in hand. You could just reply to the original point instead of. kicking the can down the road? I could also not reply to the point because that would annoy you much more. In the meantime I'll accept your apology re Andrew Tate. You donât annoy me fella, you amuse me if anything. Anyway bed timeâŚâŚ.

As someone whoâs worked with many victims of domestic abuse I feel so sad reading some of the posts on this thread.
Victims try to leave an abusive relationships many times before they finally do. This can be due to a whole range of abuses including physical, mental, financial, etc. Perpetrators control their victims.
The fact that this girl has gone back with him is both saddening and unsurprising. For her sake I hope he is a reformed character and they have a happy, healthy relationship.

This whole thing stinks. As someone said this does not mean heâs innocent it just means charges are dropped. The recordings certainly sounded pretty damning which tells you all you need to know about the type of person he appears to be. Iâm sure it wonât take long for him to be involved in something else as he must feel bulletproof right now. Letâs just hope heâs learnt from whatâs happened and gets some advice from Marcus Rashford about being the right sort of role model for the fans. Funny how the Man U fans are showing no class and talking like theyâve won the jackpot getting him back a bit like Chelsea when it came to winning trophies with dirty money. It's 2023 yet we are still living in an age where a guy can pay a victim millions to escape jail. What about the welfare of other females he might encounter in the future? All the video and audio evidence points to this guy being a violent rapist. Convince me otherwise. Careful what you say mate, we have no idea if that's true or not?

Oh come on, letâs call a spade a spade. Greenwood is undoubtedly a massive cunt but there's no need to resort to racism. Hang on a minute You have apparently quoted something I did not say The spade reference was made by someone else to a post I made I am not sure how you have managed to do that but I demand the incorrect post be removed together with the allegation of racism

Strange one this but the video and audio showed exactly what he is! We will all have our own opinions on why the GF has gone back to him and pulled out of aiding the prosecution of him!

Once again this brings into question the naming of suspects before conviction. This Lucy Letby nurse accused of killing babies at a Chester maternity unitâŚ.supposing itâs found that somebody was setting her up as a cover for bigger malpractice at the unit? If sheâs found not guilty, unlikely I know, sheâs a marked woman. Itâs strange that with such apparent overwhelming evidence she still pleads not guilty and youâd have thought that her defence lawyer would have advised her to plead guilty to prevent further anguish for the babies families. Iâm probably wrong but it just emphasises the danger of naming suspects before conviction in high profile cases.

its a terrible case and the evidence that was made public was damning
i really would not want to see him on a pitch again being held up as a role model and influencer of the young ones that attend and watch games
the law is an ass i guess

My biggest concern is for the young lady whoâs chosen to reignite her relationship with him. Only she knows why itâs a good move but if sheâs happy to be with someone that can treat her in the way he did regardless of his fame and wealth then thatâs her call, all Iâd say is Itâs very sad that she doesnât respect herself enough to get out and run for the hills. I didn't follow this case as it developed. I only saw the pictures and heard the recording today. It reminds me a lot of Nicole Simpson. OJ abused her for a long time, and she was so scared that he would kill her that she had pictures of her bruises and black eye, along with a will, in her bank safe deposit box. Yet she stayed with him for many years. Why? One reason was that she was afraid he would kill her if she left him. And that's exactly what he did. But another reason, probably the bigger reason in fact, was that she was addicted to the lifestyle that comes along with being married to a rich and famous celebrity. Moreover, Nicole's family was addicted to that lifestyle too, and there was tacit pressure for her to stay in the relationship to help her family. OJ beat up Nicole's sister one time too, and the sister went to him shortly after and asked him to pay for an expensive trip, which OJ agreed to do. OJ also paid for Nicole Simpson's parents to start a business. It can be hard enough to leave an abusive relationship, as abusers can be very manipulative and can be very nice between the abusive episodes. In addition, a lot of abusers seek out people are financially or psychologically vulnerable. When staying with an abuser means having access to a lavish lifestyle, that adds another layer to an already complicated situation.

You do realise that other defences can be presented to achieve a not guilty verdict other than âI didnât do itâ? Think youâve missed my point. You seemed confused as to why someone would plead not guilty to something when the evidence they did it is overwhelming. I just gave you the answer, simply having âdone itâ doesnât necessarily lead to a guilty verdict.

I just gave you the answer, simply having âdone itâ doesnât necessarily lead to a guilty verdict. My thinking is that if the evidence is overwhelming then youâd expect a guilty plea from the outset. But in this case she pleaded not guilty which rings alarm bells for me that there may be more to this case than meets the eye. Iâve not read anywhere that she has mental issues that could result in a diminished responsibility type of plea. But my original point still stands that in the unlikely event she is found not guilty then she is a marked lady unable to continue working as a midwife and will probably need some kind of anonymity protection.

Do you have a daughter? Would you we be saying âshe ought to have thought who she was getting involved withâ if she was the female in this situation? We're not talking about the female in this situation. She was most likely not publically forewarned in the national media but she's decided she doesn't want to give evidence against him because they're now back together. Any future females that choose to become involved with him absolutely have been forewarned and share a portion of responsibilty if they then choose to continue to be involved with him regardless. Don't tell me you've got a Daughter and she's sugar and spice and all things nice and if she became involved in an abusive relationship it would all be the other persons fault and you'd kill them. OK on we move to the next fairytale. Lives and relationships are deeply complex don't rush to judge them until you've lived them. People do horrible things to each other. It absolutely is about the female in this situation. So you take a drive through Moss Side tomorrow, get dragged out of your car, robbed at gun point & left in a bloody mess on the floor. You must have heard that itâs a little bit ropey around those parts? You deserved it then? You obviously donât have a daughter, because yes, youâre right that is exactly what Iâd want to do. My profession means I am only too well aware of people who do horrible things to each other. You bigoted little manâŚ

For having 18 months out of the game and moving to a foreign country with a target on your back. Thon boy is having an excellent season in my opinion.
Apparently Barcelona, Athletico Madrid and Juventus monitoring him.
I think he's still got a big future ahead of him.

From a footballing stance I suppose 3 from 13 in a Mid Table Spanish Team isn't too bad He's still an alleged Rapist and Girlfriend Beater mind He could be in the right place to start his rehabilitation mind. Although he never played for them they named their Stadium after Getafe's most famous son Alfonso PĂŠrez, but they removed his named when he kissed a girl. It could have been on the instructions of their owners the Ruling Dubai family who are noted for their respect for women Its all about money đ°đ˘ď¸đŞ
