Will you ever change from the same boring drivel you come out with every post? Which bit isn’t true except tongue in cheek referal to his pathetic post game logic You are moaning after we put in a decent performance against a team who is eighth in the premier league. Every post you make is the same boring shit, when I manage to read what utter shit you have posted that is as most of the time your posts resemble a word search or the matrix.

Basically Alex Neil used it as a training session to get players who are not match fit to get some minutes in their legs.

Wilmott has played well tonight He's defended well yes, but he's constantly given the ball away. His passing has been horrendous Amended it for you , unless he's passing sideways, back, back sideways his passing IS horrendous.

Very Alex Neil , lowest graded match of the night by the media because they know we are grey in every aspect , half a crowd due to the utter apathy crested round the club by its leaders , plenty of effort but no enterprise in the performance game over again at 0-1 whatever the time , zero impact substitutions and our appalling home form under Neil continues , probably followed by we can’t play against teams with talented Latin Americans we just don’t have a Latin American to do it . Grey mediocre and drifting towards an April of brinkmanship between catastrophe or survival . Will you ever change from the same boring drivel you come out with every post? Just ignore him, it’s attention seeking

Yes and Hoever was a competition winner according to him a week or two back I try to be balanced but Nathan jones signed Powell , O’Neil signed Baker a couple of decent individual performances in one game don’t make them a good manager Neil’s results say he’s failing simple and irrefutable Balanced my arse!

Did ok up to a point. Thought the lads at the back and in midfield were competitive enough. The three front lads were beyond pathetic though and it's clear as day where we need to improve.
Bit worrying that Clucas is finding his way back into the side as a wide target man.
Sorry Alex, that's a shit tactic so stop it and behave yourself.

Your downfall will inevitably come, time levels all things ultimately. You need to put a sock in the crowing mate..Save it for the Brighton messageboard. Indeed. Brighton are quickly becoming one of my least favourite clubs, full of themselves fans like this twerp.I can’t wait for the bubble to burst when this manager fucks off(which I’ve heard will be happening) Big European Clubs will circle for their better players as well like vultures ultimately punching well above their weight currently hope they enjoy it while it lasts.

A telling pass from a prem side vs a telling pass from a perceived shit side. We tried harder tonight I thought , not sure it was cus of oppo or just me. Certain players that come in for criticism played well tonight. Where the psycho therapy thread ( be it for players or fans)

I said at swansea Neil deserved great credit but it’s a results business and his are leading to an inevitable departure unless he can produce a remarkable turnaround I actually believe Sarkic and axel are his best chance of that but momentum and tide are against him

Campbell showed Dunk up one on one and forced the goalie into what was a decent save. He had a decent first half I thought, ok not brilliant by any means but also not pathetic.

The squad is such a mess. Put the loanees in that are most important, Axel is a must if he can manage another game. Celina up with Campbell instead of Brown, brains are needed now not Duracell bunnies! Up to him to balance it.

Had a few chances tonight against a good side! Thought first half we showed a bit too much respect and someone needed to put a tackle in, 2nd half much better. Must admit didn’t agree bringing Campbell off when he probably looked most likely to get us a goal if we were to get one. Impressed with Tuanzebe and Hoever personally👍

Wow. What a load of drivel that is. Your points are as good as your grammar. So your saying we won’t be in a relegation battle in April , he made good subs , we really looked like scoring , it’s a game og high media interest played out in full stadium fair enough but Aprils going to be a huge shock to the nervous system The club has been on the decline for the last 5 years. We’ve made questionable decisions on managers, and our transfer policy / strategy has been shocking. We all know that. It’s not going to get better quickly. We’ve been woeful most of this season, our squad is terrible, and we have way too many League One players. We know that too. We gambled in the January window, hoping we have enough to stay up, so we can actually build a squad in summer capable of promotion. I don’t think there is a chance in hell, that we will get relegated. We have more than enough (insert more appropriate word that quality) to pick up the points we need. It probably won’t be pretty, and I’m sure there will be lots of things to complain about. But I’m resigned to that, in order to enjoy next season (hopefully). Today we played against a fantastic team, we pushed them, even if we never quite looked like winning. But there’s not too much to complain about after that game.

He created a very decent opportunity by his own efforts. I can see the need for better options than Gayle and Brown ( although he's a decent Championship squad player, I believe ) but, personally, I think Campbell is an asset. Hopefully Tezgel and Lowe will come on.

Was tonight so different from recent games? As people have said, some good defensive performances, going forward we are clueless. I personally can't take to Neil, others maybe like him but it's all space age tactics when we can't do the basics. Last 10 mins tonight, he gives Lowe a bit of time, great experience, but to play him up alone when we chase the game its awful, no real support or plan bar trying to get Clucas to beat lamptey in the air then what?

I thought we were okay and they were impressive, so something to be encouraged by. As solid as that midfield is (or swap Pearson for Thomson, Smallbone for one of the other two), the front 3 are nowhere near creative enough for us to play that team regularly.

I was trying to think who played left wing then before, and completely forgot Tymon played sadly.

Pretty good summary in The Guardian:
“Brighton’s class, in the end, eased them past a Stoke who were doughty and little else until a late flurry. The Potters threatened from corners and controlled the ball, moving their visitors around, but lacked the class the Seagulls showed in the sequence that created Evan Ferguson’s winning strike, and which has them in the quarter-final draw.“

For all their fancy nogger, we restricted them to 3 shots on target the same as us.
But I fully expect us to return to a league game mode on Sat. & concede early, then huff & puff, miss easy chances & come away with nowt.

But I fully expect us to return to a league game mode on Sat. & concede early, then huff & puff, miss easy chances & come away with nowt. Given our current squad, particularly up front, that is to be expected against any team defending in depth. Ironically our best chance is against teams who set out to attack us and give us a bit of room to work in.
