Very Alex Neil , lowest graded match of the night by the media because they know we are grey in every aspect , half a crowd due to the utter apathy crested round the club by its leaders , plenty of effort but no enterprise in the performance game over again at 0-1 whatever the time , zero impact substitutions and our appalling home form under Neil continues , probably followed by we can’t play against teams with talented Latin Americans we just don’t have a Latin American to do it . Grey mediocre and drifting towards an April of brinkmanship between catastrophe or survival .

You bring subs on to change the game, so he brings Clucas on who did fuck all, all the time he was on. Exactly the same against Millwall..and the last game before he got injured...and the one before that..and so on,and so on...and the manager puts him on the right?????

A brave effort against a technically superior team who could have scored more. The comparison between the 2 teams ability on the ball is huge. Thought all 4 of the starting defence played well and despite some criticism from some I’d sign Hoever as I think he’s got potential and is a better bet than Tymon and Fox.

We could have played another hour and still not scored, clear out needed in the summer in terms of strikers and midfield. I do have faith in Neil but not the owners at all. Your still banging in about the owners . Tell me how they have destroyed this club?

Campbell did ok.. created our best chance of the game by beating a defender the commentator's were creaming themselves over all night and forcing their goalie into a decent save. He’s a greedy shit. Didn’t have his head up for a fucking age, if he did he’d have seen Tymon outside him. It’s a detriment to the team. Bad decisions shooting from 20yards+ every time because he’s managed to beat one man.

Bit of a stroll for them really. The gulf in quality, both individually and collectively was plain to see but they tried. We just have some very, very mediocre players. I had to chuckle at the end when the commentator suggested that the chasing side usually gets one big chance St the end. What happened? Nothing at one end, Brighton hit the post! It clearly wasn't a stroll for them else they'd have put 5 past us, yes they've got some world class players, but we gave them a game darn it ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/0m0lbCuTEBzaRn6f8QaM.gif)

I was really impressed by Hoever. One of our best players tonight. I like him he looks comfortable on either side and has good pace

Gave them more of a game than I thought we would. Thought the three loanees Sterling, Hoever and Tuanzebe all looked at home against that level of opposition. Unfortunately the likes of Tymon, Thompson and Brown stood out like a saw thumb. Tuanzebe looked up for it definitely. Good player if he can stay fit.

Well to get to the Premier League we are going to need to spend some serious money in the summer on players who will have sell on value.

Any positives we can take from that? I guess it could have been more than one. Lowe looks like a great prospect. The good old now we are out of the cups we can concentrate on the league. I have no idea where you got 'lowe looks like a great prospect'. Positives for me were tuanzebe, wilmot, sterling and hoever (2nd half). The rest were shite as per normal.

Thought we did well tonight. I was expecting a drubbing even though I went for a win in the oatcake prediction but I thought we gave a good account of ourselves. Glaringly obvious that we need a goalscorer though. Lowe was good when he came on, thought Tyrese did really well and Hoever and Sterling had good games. Was impressed with Axel at the back, just what we need if he can stay fit.

Second half he was laughably bad. Like a bagatelle

It just didn't feel like an FA Cup tie, underdogs go for it because they have nowt to lose, but we didn't, we played just to keep the score down.

We all know the limitations of the team, so in that context THAT was a really magnificent performance If you call that a "magnificent performance" then I really do feel sorry for you.

I wouldn’t bother with cheap tickets again if I were the club. Make it £20 and the same 11,000 will turn up…..

So your saying we won’t be in a relegation battle in April , he made good subs , we really looked like scoring , it’s a game og high media interest played out in full stadium fair enough but Aprils going to be a huge shock to the nervous system

Good analysis on ITV….Stoke got forward but never actually believed they would score. One of the many negative traits of the team….no belief.

Did you ever see Stoke before we played in the premiership? yes of course but what I’m saying is they’ve led to the demise of this football club. The FFP mess, their fault. To add to this, what was that comment? What’s all the fuss about? Attendances plummeting? Lack of awareness to the situation? Arrogance? They live in the last and continue to run the club like we are in the 80s

I thought we definitely went for it, bravely pressing intensely from the start, and we held them at arms length for most of the game. Again within the context of our players and their abilities vs theirs we should be proud of ourselves, I don't get all this negativity. In the cup Brighton beat Middlesborough 5-1 Brighton beat Liverpool 2-1 Brighton just beat us 1-0 (very fine margins, and a competitive game to the end)

Very comfortable win for us. The gulf between both clubs is huge. Not the most entertaining game to watch. Monday. Ignt football is horrific. Just glad to be in the hat for the quarters.
