Are you and Neil invited to the first night, Malcolm - and if you are, will you get to be on stage at the end of the show?

Only a matter of time till Steven Spielberg picks up the film rights !! If Hollywood gets it be prepared for a rewrite with a Man U fan being befriended by Arsen Wenger 😀

The tale is an utter joy. Will tissues be handed out in the foyer to help remove pieces of grit that mysteriously get into eyes?

I think you mean 'Come From Away', a wonderful musical which we saw for the second time last Thursday.
We have booked our tickets for 'Marvellous' and are really looking forward to it!

I absoltely loved the TV version, and I'm not a Stoke fan. Better still, my other half loved it too, and shes not a football fan of any kind!
Living in London, we shall certainly book to see the play, just as soon as we've sortewd the best date.

We have wondered how a London audience would react, and were delighted at the reception it had at the first night on Saturday - which was as good as any I personally saw at the New Vic. How full was it ?

Brightened up our team meeting this morning and I'm at a wedding on Saturday. Should be mint.

Yes the audience seemed to enjoy it bit of participation laughing amd clapping, some great quirks with Nello pulling a table and chairs out from his bag for life and asking for his chocolates back. Couple of stoke scarfs in the audience too

Went to see this in Soho last Saturday (Matinee performance so added bonus of missing the loss to Coventry).
A wonderful production and fabulous cast. And the theatre is brand new so very comfortable, which is not usually the case in the West End.
Only 2/3 full but crowd fully engaged and entertained. A couple of Stoke shirts in the audience, which was nice to see.
Had the pleasure of briefly meeting Nello afterward, though he wasn’t too happy to hear the news of the result from me!
Thought it was a lovely touch at the end when they put him (literally) in the spotlight and the audience were able to show their appreciation to the real star of the show.
