For me 100% has to be Tyrese Campbell. So much of this season seemed to depending on whether he could hit the ground running and he just never looked like running for more than 10 minutes. Gouranga.

The injuries we have suffered again, which have systematically knackered us one after the other.
Souttar, then Powell, then Thompson on and off, then Wilmot (COVID and the two Bob bits/stomach issue), then Powell again, then Vrancic, then Sawyers. Chuck in Tymon and Tommy Smith for bits and bobs and it just takes the micky a little bit.
That's before you even consider Tyrese or Doughty etc.
One of the best bits of business we could do this summer is a complete overhaul or review of our Sport Science dept. Not saying they are all at fault but look at ways we can improve to see if there is absolutely anything we can do to reduce the risks etc.
Marginal gains and all that...

Travelling over 5000miles to watch us lose at home to Derby and Preston. Worse than the couple of hundred quid it cost to take my 2 boys of 12 and 10 was the complete lack of atmosphere in the ground and effort from the players - totally different to my 1st game 40 odd years ago that made me a fan for life

Quite probably the fact that this squad has finished 14th.
It is absolutely unacceptable.

Hand-picked by MON, from his NI set-up, where he worked with him for years, isn't he? As was the club doctor the same summer. And he also hand-picked the recruitment team. And have we seen improvement in any area?

And have we seen improvement in any area? Every facet of the football side of the club has been hand picked by the manager, since we didn't have anything remotely resembling a professional football club structure before he walked through the door. They'll have to be hand picked again should the manager leave as they'll all no doubt trickle away with him. The recruitment has been hit and miss in parts, so it all boils down to your expectations of how quickly a new process should bear fruit and to what percentage of hit to miss it should be off the bat? Sport Science is tricky to measure since a lot of our injuries have been impact injuries, so the marginal gains bit comes into how much can you potentially legislate and prepare for that to make players that little bit more robust over the course of the season? Oh, and it isn't Thursday....

Biggest disappointment has to be the Coates family & there lack of being able to employ the right people to bring the club into 21st century. Also Mon who bores the arse off me with his idea of exciting football.

Our home games. You can count on one hand the times I’ve walked away from the ground and thought “that was a decent game”.
I don’t care what type of football we play, I just want to see a team that creates chances and plays on the front foot. We’ve done neither in the majority of home games.

Biggest disappointment is my complete lack of surprise when we fuck it up again. A simple shrug of the shoulders like it’s now to be expected.
Everything about our club is beige.

Does the fact that he's had to have another knee operation not suggest to you that not has all been well with him since he's returned?

Laughable. The lad has been out with a serious injury and people expect him to hit the ground running. He needs a good pre-season at least.

Oh come off it mate on the injury front, along with FFP malarkey I’m so fed up with excuses on how it’s been so bad for us, we should be head and shoulders above most teams in this league but we’re not even remotely looking a decent side with little if anything to look forward to, it’s horrible to watch with this bloke in charge. But if you’re happy that’s fine with me, he has to go very soon. The he’s a nice bloke is also wearing thin now as I’m getting to the point I dislike him due to the shit he thinks is acceptable for us.

As a few have said the mind numbing boring turgid home games.. and that's when we have won, and the season in general some say injuries etc but that shouldn't stop us trying to play decent on the front foot football, and we have it to look forward to again next season whoopee.

The he’s a nice bloke is also wearing thin now as I’m getting to the point I dislike him due to the shit he thinks is acceptable for us. Before the injuries kicked in, during the first half of the season, I thought we were a fit Campbell and a ball winning midfielder away from having a very good side indeed. Some of the football we were playing (Swansea and Preston away in particular) was some of the best we've played since relegation by far. It's gone to pot in my eyes as the injuries, and the January FFP churn have bit hard. Some say it's an excuse and I respect that. If I had to critique the manager and did back in January/February time, is that he still doesn't react too well to injuries but looking back at leisure, I think they have been pretty extreme for two seasons in a row. I'm heartened by the manager finally recognising we need that physicality in the side. If he can marry that with the football style we were playing in the first half of the season, and take a good look at the injury situation then I think we'll have a good season next season. You don't and that's your opinion.

Sorry, I think you may find that we had a promotion, an FA Cup final, League Cup Semi-Final, a fantastic run in Europe and ten years in the Premier, in the 21st Century under the Coates family. What in earth are you talking about. You can say we've been let down over the past few years but we ad a fantastic eleven years thanks to the Coates family.
