The season has been a shocker, major disappointment.
Responsibility needs to be taken across the board but it starts with the owners who have failed and failed and failed to address the structure of the club and not giving any manager a chance of succeeding.

Having the gammon at the brownlow when the steak looked fantastic back in November.

Biggest disappointment for me is that the Coates family just fail to see what most of us can see that we are going nowhere with Mon. They seem happy with falling crowds lack of atmosphere & boring negative football & midtable finishes.

For me 100% has to be Tyrese Campbell. So much of this season seemed to depending on whether he could hit the ground running and he just never looked like running for more than 10 minutes. Gouranga. I could never understand why so many pinned their hopes on Campbell - it was unrealistic and unfair on the lad. I didn't think he'd be playing until Xmas and not firing on all season until Easter and I don't think bringing him back sooner did him or the team any favours. Losing Souttar was the killer for me - our early season good form was to a large extent down to him being so good at bringing the ball out from the defence - it made the system we were trying to play work and without him it just didn't click.

Our inconsistency throughout the year. Losing Souttar for so long. The temporary moratorium on exclamation marks on The Oatcake.

MON I lost faith in him last season, but the changes in the summer and the start of the season restored some hope, but it didn't last long and I realised we were a lost cause even before the injuries and results turned against us.
On the other side of the coin, it has been pleasing to see Souttar, Tyson, and Brown blossom. Hopefully they can move to the next level next season, but we need a manager who can manage to a much better level of team performance, with better defending, better passing, better set piece play, etc.
It appalls me to see players discussing what to do when there is a free kick. All 11 players should be drilled into knowing exactly what to do as Pulis teams were.

30 points lost from winning positions. That star alone should've seen the manager replaced
