The football played after the last window. I really thought we’d kick on Biddace and DWP I thought would make us into this exciting great to watch young team pushing for the playoffs. How wrong I was.

Oh come off it mate on the injury front, along with FFP malarkey I’m so fed up with excuses on how it’s been so bad for us, we should be head and shoulders above most teams in this league but we’re not even remotely looking a decent side with little if anything to look forward to, it’s horrible to watch with this bloke in charge. But if you’re happy that’s fine with me, he has to go very soon. The he’s a nice bloke is also wearing thin now as I’m getting to the point I dislike him due to the shit he thinks is acceptable for us. Before the injuries kicked in, during the first half of the season, I thought we were a fit Campbell and a ball winning midfielder away from having a very good side indeed. Some of the football we were playing (Swansea and Preston away in particular) was some of the best we've played since relegation by far. It's gone to pot in my eyes as the injuries, and the January FFP churn have bit hard. Some say it's an excuse and I respect that. If I had to critique the manager and did back in January/February time, is that he still doesn't react too well to injuries but looking back at leisure, I think they have been pretty extreme for two seasons in a row. I'm heartened by the manager finally recognising we need that physicality in the side. If he can marry that with the football style we were playing in the first half of the season, and take a good look at the injury situation then I think we'll have a good season next season. You don't and that's your opinion. Starry eyed codswallop. That’s my opinion😉 If MON turns it around next season you have permission give me the cat o nine tails

Biggest disappointment has to be the Coates family & there lack of being able to employ the right people to bring the club into 21st century. Also Mon who bores the arse off me with his idea of exciting football. Sorry, I think you may find that we had a promotion, an FA Cup final, League Cup Semi-Final, a fantastic run in Europe and ten years in the Premier, in the 21st Century under the Coates family. What in earth are you talking about. You can say we've been let down over the past few years but we ad a fantastic eleven years thanks to the Coates family. And 5 years of utter crap which could & should have been avoided if they had acted at the right time instead of dithering. They took the plaudits when things were good so should get the criticism when times are bad.

The refusal to sign a proper, physical holding midfielder and the knee-jerk, panicky reversion to a back three and wing back system after the Luton game.

The idea that the manager has ‘finally realised we need that physicality’ is something that remains to be seen as well, it’s not actually based on much.

Biggest disappointment is leaving the pub to catch a bus to the ground in the hope of a ray of light that is constantly hidden by a cloud of turgidness.

1) Every week, watching us fail to take the game to the opposition at the bet365. We're so passive.
2) Campbell's complete non-event of a season. I couldn't wait to see him back. He's been hopeless.
3) The injuries. AGAIN.
4) Having to watch Chester week after week until MON finally realised his legs had gone.
5) The goalkeeping situation. We had one average keeper and two poor ones. Guess which one we let go?
6) Not signing a decent defensive midfielder when even Stevie Wonder could see that one was needed.
7) More bad loan signings, and even the one who looked like he was going to be great (JPB) ended up fizzling out to nothing.
These are the specific things that have disappointed me, but the whole season has just been a massive let down.

The excuses made on behalf of the manager/players, by those that are comfortable with just being a lower-mid-table Championship club, you deserve all you get.

The inability of MON to achieve the play-offs with this squad. Admittedly injuries have played their part but so they do at every other club. With names like Allen, Clucas, Baker, Campbell, Fletcher, Powell, Brown. Even Afobe, Surridge and Vokes should be here scoring goals for us. Considering the low quality of this Championship (Bar Bournemouth and Fulham) I feel a better manager would have walked this squad into the play offs. I don’t think he is the man to take us forward.

When we beat Huddersfield on September 11th 2-1 , we had played 6, won 4, drawn 1 and the only defeat was away at Fulham. We were 2nd I think.
I couldn't begin to conceive we would finish playing 10 dead rubbers to wind up the season.

Like staffsoatcake says, the amount of points we’ve thrown away from winning positions, especially compared to the amount gained from losing positions.

The so close yet so far feeling. The start of season was brilliant, playing some fantastic football. The Tymon goal vs Forest was exceptional.
The missed chances to put games away and the failure to hold on the lead were the main differences between us being 14th or going for automatic promotion.

That O’Neill wasn’t sacked when we still had enough games left to be in with some sort of shout of the playoffs......

Most of it. - Poor loan signings some of which we never saw. - Terrible attitude to some of the games. - No strength in depth, the bench didn't look out of place at the Vale. - and as been pointed out above, Tyrese Campbell, who looks like he's been on the beer and fags all year.
Ho hum.

The predictability of our games.
We are ponderous, short of ideas, rarely on the front foot, and so often we just never finish teams off.

30 points lost from winning positions, and a feeble 8 points gained from losing positions.
Simply not good enough, and makes me wonder about the mentality of the players.
