Who the fuck is leaving? 😂😂 Allen, Clucas, Chester, Brown, Surridge, Bonham, Ince Have to say watching Stoke all season we’re desperate for a striker of quality. Fletcher is finished, Brown hapless( scored last night but rest of game was awful), Surridge ? Need a decent focal point with legs.

I would happily say he’s better than any of the strikers currently at the club. What the hell the plan for them all is anyones guess. Have you ever seen him play ? Yeah loads of times.

I just get the feeling it’s all a bit too late. Shame really. If we could only start the season with this array of riches we might actually achieve something.

Recall this lad being the star of the show on the early episodes of 'Sunderland Till I Die'. Sounds like one of those players who showed real early promise but peaked far to young for one reason or another. Broke on to the scene at Sunderland in a similar way to Campbell with us. Banging them in for fun, albeit at a league below, before his agent stiched them up and got him a move abroad for which Sunderland received a pittance. They replaced him with Will Grigg for considerably more money! Havent really followed Maja’s progress since

Ince. They will be on similar salaries I would have thought. I think that’s a given. But there must be another? Surridge hopefully. Davies

Not what we need in my opinion. We seem to be collecting forwards at the minute and have no idea how to supply the ones we have. I think we need a right back/right wing back

Can’t say I’d be against it, but another attacking player to come in who needs time to bed in. It could be a thrilling end to the season, but it’ll be seriously frustrating if we only manage to click from March onwards. I’m feeling like our chances of the play-offs have gone so not feeling particularly enthused by anything this morning. I can’t keep having my hopes built up and dashed again.

Is he needed?
Would much rather get a better RB or LB, another CB to replace Chester and another midfielder to replace Clucas.

I think MON has realised that the playoffs have gone for us, but he is building for next season. A lot of our playes are out of contract in the summer which will give him the chance to build his team, and in the process he is having a closer look at players he might will be able to bring in. They could be loans or come on permanent deals.

It just doesn’t look likely?? Mental if not. I guess if on a season loan and can't play for another team this season it kind of makes sense .

Another 'injured' striker? Better get them revolving doors greased up too, be a bit embarrassing when they start squeaking. Thus isn't squad building it's 'strike it lucky'

He spent some time pre-2015 in Man City's youth set up. I think that was the same time Andy Cousins was scouting for them so maybe a link there?
Sunderland views from when he played in League One.

Forest pulled plug on a 4m deal apparently in summer because of a recurring back injury. Wonder why they'd not be in for him again? Because they've brought in Kienan Davies who we were set to sign in the summer before his injury. Everyone is hampered to some extent by FFP

Just wondering why Fulham decided to pull the plug on a permanent striker?
If he's an out and out striker I think he's just what we want. At the moment Brown seems to be the only one capable of troubling the goal regularly and he's more miss than hit. Campbell and Fletcher just don't carry a goal threat (no criticism of Campbell who needs time but if we want to make a serious if probably futile now attempt at the playoffs we haven't got time to wait)

Absolutely pointless signing this season unless we have an option to buy clause and can actually afford to buy him, same with the rest of the loanees, nothing more than sticking plasters.
Play brown and get Campbell upto speed now, we're going nowhere this season, the loanees will all be going back. Save the money so we have some in summer. Next season we'll need a new team again so where is the money coming from.
Bidace will go on to be a Premier league regular he certainly won't be our player in the foreseeable future
