Surridge does look pretty hard. If he can harness his aggression properly it would be a good attribute.

Needs to be playing more. I think he'll prove a decent signing yet.

That clip sums him up beautifully really.
Doesn’t have a clue what he’s doing. Nice control and dribbling - oooh there’s a footballer in there. Sliced finish wide.

Is there anyone you do like? Tom Pope perhaps? Do you actually think they’re both decent players? Be honest!! They’re ok. Not shit like you clearly think. Brown has improved this year from last. He’s a bit of a low rent John Walters but so was super John when he first came. Surridge has been a bit of a disappointment after his first game but in fairness he’s not had much of a chance. I think he will come good but if he didn’t he’s not in the Berahino ‘expensive flop’ category is he?

It appears Sam Surridge wants to be a professional footballer. Unfortunately he’s not good enough (at least at the championship level) and should look for another profession or drop down a division. He’s a journeyman who averages about one goal in five appearances. He has a quick temper which probably arises from frustration at not being able to do what he expects from himself. The sooner we get rid the better. Having one less striker is infinitely preferred to one that’s not up to the job. It’s a of money that we don’t have and he’s potentially a rotten apple.

I was about to say… journeyman? We’re his 2nd permanent club and he’s in his early 20’s.. he scores a goal every 3.7 or so games, not 1 in 5… and assumptions about why he’s ‘got a temper’ and he’s a potential rotten apple? What a load of shit.

Did the right thing, got to take a shot on there. Agreed - Stanislas was nowhere near goal and had 2 defenders in front of him. No bad thing having a bit of aggression in a striker - just needs channeling. Still think he'll come good for us.

Is this a thread in support of Surridge?
A video clip of him running with the ball, cheese slice, then one of his team-mates pushing him in the belly?

Something i've never understood. Why, when 2 players from the same team are having a fall out, do the opposing players separate / stand in the way of them?
If it was me, i'd let them crack on in the hope 1 gets sent off.

Agree mate, shocking player same as Brown. I’m concerned what more money O’Neill is going to waste in January. If you say something these Oatie kings don’t agree they run off and tell miss!!

I'm still unsure about him due to the circumstances of his arrival. Bournemouth got relegated so therefore have shitloads of money this season and they decided to sell a young player on a long contract for not much money.. money that they clearly didn't need. The above strikes me as somewhat indicative of Bournemouth seeing him as 'not useful' in respect of achieving promotion. Hopefully we've seen something that they were blind to but I find that hard to believe given most of our recent transfer business. Maybe he and a fit TC can get something going soon.. there has to be a reason we bought him.. surely!?!
