Crap questions for O’Neil Didn’t challenge him Criticising fans and i’m pretty sure I heard Angela say that players felt the losses more than the fans as it was their ‘livelihoods’
What a load of b0110ks from the BBC
I paid my money today I booed the players when they were shit I shouted at them when they didn’t move or attempt to tackle
And I guarantee I’ll still be pissed off on Wednesday
And as for their livelihoods, that’s an absolute insult
You are reporters not their mates

Cutting edge questions and Radio Stoke are not compatible.
It's all too pally. Whilst listening in the car after the game the bloke who does Vale came out with something strange like ' I guess you are happy with the win today ' .
Fuck me . I get the fact local radio up and down the country is the same but you can't beat Radio 5 for a proper unbiased report about the actual match.
It's all an old boys /girls network on local radio with back slapping and cringeworthy presenters and commentators.

That line from Angela had me swearing at the radio. What a load of bollocks. It’s downright disgusting I enjoyed listening to her on that knot FM and I’ve always spoke well of her, but to suggest the players hurt more than we do is a disgusting comment. To a man, they’ll all be sat in their luxury homes this morning, they are set for life and if a better offer came in, they would be there like a shot, ad fair enough, good luck to them… But to say they hurt more than we do, well

Radio Stoke part of the club PR machine really. Not sure being part of that is an ideal role for the chair of supporters council in my opinion.

MON is developing all of the players and the club massively. We have quite a lot of players out missing and surely no-one would see that as our first team if everyone was fit? Fans need to understand the level of change we are going through and to support the club. If the toxic expectant nature remains then as a club we will never progress because of damage by the fans to the group of footballers. Even if we had Klopp as a manager we wouldn't be promoted with that toxic nature.

Its a fine line to tread to have to ask the difficult questions without upsetting them so they never open up to you again. I think she does it quite well, and if you think footballers don't mind losing your crazy!

Not moving and not tackling isn’t about tactics or transition, it’s players not giving a shit.
It’s not all of them, but it’s something that’s plagued us for years.
Probably four years if spending £60 a week with parking, patrol, a drink and a ticket for my son… I’ll take a loss any day of the week, but to not do the basics is wearing very thin, and to be condescended as we were yesterday by the bbc is inexcusable.

I think she does it quite well, and if you think footballers don't mind losing your crazy! I didn’t say that they don’t mind losing, but it’s a job at the end of the day. What I am saying is that to say it hurts them more is utter shit But maybe if they moved or showed some passion, I’d believe that there was a colonel of truth in it. And I understand that she is trying to build a relationship, but to what end? If there aren’t questions to be asked after the Cardiff capitulation, or the performance against Peterborough or that dross… her first call is to ask the pertinent questions, not to kiss oneils arse to make sure that she’s on the good list

Breaking for the 5pm Boris Johnson 'announcement' nonsense made me flick across to Talksport to get the classified results! No political mention on there, footy talk all the way..

Hi Michael If we had Klopp of course we’d get promoted, how long you prepared to wait for this change to take place, 5,10,15 years? We need to change now, O’Neill seems a nice bloke but shocking manager.

In truth during the in game commentary of late they’ve surprised me with their damming comments regarding the shit show MON has served up, can’t recall them ever being like that.
The woman on the radio bores me stiff with her monotone voice and stating the boring obvious with her boring monotone voice.
Acts like she’s some go to expert but after her boring voice during the game the last thing I’d do is listen to her asking feeble questions.

To be clear, I like her, I welcome her comment usually, I liked the show she did online.
I just think she didn’t and probably doesn’t challenge MON enough and especially the comment about livelihoods got to me.

She would like to ask more but is hamstrung by the higher powers.

Enjoyed Radio Stoke coverage today, no blatant balls-ups. Thought Gabriel Zakuani was a good co- commentator though prone to bland statements of the obvious. By the end of the game he was referring to Stoke as "we"

She works hard behind the scenes Representing and looking out for the proper Stoke fans, which hasn’t always made her popular with the higher powers at the club. I have an awful lot of respect for Angela She is one of the “good guys” if you know what I mean.

I texted in after the QPR game about how long since we last won in the Capital which Nigel said was down to Glenn Whelan, I said it was Bojan and Walters who scored at White Hart Lane, they never answered the question because they didn’t obviously want Nigel corrected on air.

By the end of the game he was referring to Stoke as "we" Considering he wasn't here that long he has a real fondness for the club and looking at his social media it's certainly reciprocated. I must confess despite remembering him as a really solid defender when we had him on loan I can't recall many specific moments when he played.....
