Got to say Im starting to love em and not only for their ECO stance.Forest Green owner Dale Vince didnt go into the Carlisle board room last weekend because of a dress code that stipulates "ties must be worn ". He sat in the stand with the fans. Vince says he will "mirror dress code policy" which means Carlisle directors need to turn up in jeans and trainers to enter the Forest Green boardroom in the return fixture in January.

The bigger action is to let them dress as they please.
That seems unneccesarily petty (but is amusing).

The clue is in the word "mirror".

A mate of mine is their director of football. Clearly doing something right. Shame he’s a vale fan.

Crazy how offended people can get by some veggie pasties. Intrigued to know if the same people use the word "snowflake" and "woke" with no irony!

No I don’t I’ve no problem with veganism everyone to there own But at least my vegan daughter in law realises it’s not for everyone and often cooks me a cracking bacon sandwich Rather than impose her views upon me

I’ve been watching football for the best part of fifty years And have very rarely had food at football that I could describe as good Some has been acceptable but the majority takes the obligatory six pints to become vaguely edible

If you like people ramming their principals at you I’ll stick to a dodgy meat pie and a bovril myself I like meat pies but not dodgy ones why do we put up with crap food in this country? Somehow some people still get offended when an alternative to non-nutritious crap, fast food is offered. Unhealthy diet which incidentally ends up adding an estimated £6billion to the NHS budget every year. And just in case we get the usual nonsense about forcing people to eat any alternative which might be better for you (and the rest of us), or ramming their principals at you, no-one forces anyone to go to Forest Green football matches, nor forces them to eat the food that they serve there as far as I'm aware. So not to worry there are still plenty of football grounds where you can get dodgy pies.

Talking of crap food have you ever been to the States? no have heard it's generally bland but cheap? To be fair there is a lot of that, but if you just look a bit there is also a lot of excellent food over here too. The easy to find chain restaurants are nearly all crap, but you can find good local places everywhere that has good stuff.

I’ve had some excellent meals out in the US, it’s very lazy to just say ‘the food is crap over there’.
