MON indicated it was the result of a kick he got in the first half "so we were aware of it at half-time" and it tightened up during the second
"Hopefully he'll be okay for Tuesday"
He also said Vrancic's calf was bothering him at half-time, so that may be an issue too

It’s worrying how many injuries we seem to be picking up again.

It’s worrying how many injuries we seem to be picking up again. No such thing as coincidence. If the injuries start to build up we need to look at what we are doing wrong.

Apart from that ball over the top 1st half that beat him I thought he played very well again today and hopefully his injury is nothing to serious🤞

The amount of money spent on the training pitches this summer was designed to stop injuries.

On a side note how good is Harry. One hell of a player, hopefully we can go up with him. Prem beckons for this lad

We are no different to any other club A quick look at the Championship injury table says that only Reading currently have more players out injured than ourselves. We've got Fox, Allen (although he may be back Tuesday) and sicknote Fletcher. And now possibly Souttar. Two of those injuries are knocks which are totally unavoidable and both of the others are perennially injured.

This is his second injury since his long-term injury.

Letting players run into space behind him is a weakness which may stop him from being a Premier defender.

Table I just looked at says otherwise Three injuries You surely know we’ve got more than three injuries? Yes of course However if the website got ours wrong it's reasonable to assume they got others wrong too There is a bizarre agenda of unfounded negativity Today have seen that the manager would be under pressure if we are lose, that we have been lucky with our wins that the two defeats are a more accurate reflection than the five wins, we will only get 3 points in October and this nonsense that we are more susceptible to injuries Also: Brown is crap, Tymon has been found out, the midfield don't protect the defence, both keepers are dodgy and fuck knows what else For some people Stoke winning, and winning comfortably like today must come as a complete shock

I’m not well at the moment and couldn’t go today. I followed the match via radio Stoke and the matchday thread on here. Some of the comments were beyond the pale, some quite staggering irrational horseshit posted by folk.

Aren’t they all? 98% of every game I watch in the championship, Stoke or otherwise is the same old attritional bore fest. Set pieces, gamesmanship, and the team who makes fewest calamities are the victors.

Set pieces, gamesmanship, and the team who makes fewest calamities are the victors. No. I’m amazed after nearly four years you still don’t understand the league tbh. How many games did you enjoy when we got promoted? Half a dozen at a push? And I’m talking good performances not good results because the two don’t necessarily go hand in hand. It’s a grind, always has been and always will. Get the win and move on swiftly to the next one.
