They sound pacy and energetic. As ever the worry is in the midfield being cut through. Might be a cagy affair and we'll have to take our chances. Really hope Powell is back.

A job for Thommo perhaps?

A job for Thommo perhaps? He got subbed off (part of a 'tiring midfield') last night so might not be most energetic. If he wasn't playing so well out wide I'd be tempted to put Tymon in for Allen and Doughty on the LWB role. Allen has played twice in a few days and is not always a great DM Tymon at least is quick and no games for two weeks.

Yes I’m sure it was on Twitter earlier that they’d sold 400 junior tickets for the empty corner Not advertised it very well have they. Should really have pushed it and filled the place more. It was advertised on here last week.

It was also on the website over a week ago and the various social media channels. I’m not sure what people expect, massive billboards all over the city and a TV ad campaign?

Can't see any way Allen won't be available. Sawyers and Powell in front would be tasty but they'll need to curb some of their instincts perhaps.

Allen will no doubt start. Presume Sawyers is pretty sharp now.

You'd think he'll be reluctant to leave Souttar out, given the Aussie match was over on Tuesday afternoon, our time.
And the drop-off to Fox, Batth or Chester is so big.
Seems to be pretty much a 12-hr flight from Vietnam, so he probably got home late last night. If he can train tomorrow having rested today he might risk him?
No chance for Sima though. Probably unlikely he'll sneak onto the bench either, given the other options available?
Got to be time to chuck Sawyers in though.

Huge game this. 4th v 5th (I know, early season, but still) and coming off the back of a bit of a mauling at Fulham. These next 3 fixtures are all very winnable on paper and a haul of 7 or 9 would be unreal in terms of giving us the confidence, platform and momentum to really kick on and launch some sort of promotion assault. But Huddersfield, despite being tipped to be in or around relegation, have won 3 in a row and will be feeling very good about themselves. Arguably in a better mindset than our squad given we're coming into this off the back of a fortnight to dwell on the disappointment and humbling of our last showing? It will be interesting for sure. A sign of a team destined for good things in this division is how they respond to setbacks. The Fulham game felt like a big setback to me, mainly the manner of the defeat where I think 3-0 flattered us somewhat and some cracks appeared. The backline especially had a torrid afternoon and seemed shaky and frustrated, but I believe we can bounce back and put a big marker down.
2-1 Stoke

I think we’ll pick up 6 points from the next 9, but Saturday won’t be any.
Quite a few of our players have been on international duty.
I fancy a slow start, us to go 1-0 early, get back into it but then lose to a soft late goal when pushing for the winner.

I'm sure when we signed Sawyers I heard/read MON saying he'd need the international break to get his fitness levels up. Hope that's the case, love to see him start on Saturday.

I reckon he will give Arry every chance to show he has recovered from the long return journey, as he will give Powell every chance to show he is fit enough to start (presumably for Vrancic). I will be amazed if Sawyers does not start ahead of Clucas too. Udders have had a decent start, other than a mauling by Fulham - so just like us. A good home game against decent opposition to put that game well and truly behind us. Sima will be in the stand watching, with coming off the bench on Wednesday his best chance of a debut this next week, you'd think.

Very confident that we will bounce back from the Fulham defeat.
The dog botherers look like they'll be a tough test, but I think we'll get a win.
A 2-1 win to the Potters.

Just been speaking to a Huddersfield fan. O'Brian and an attacking player Thomas they got from non league are apparantly their key players to mark up.
Said he thinks they're in a false position.

Clucas has a left foot so that is always in his favour in regards the balance of the side mate True, but there has to be more to it than that to choose to play him ahead of Sawyers, for me. He's been poor (other than his habitual goal against the Swans) and if Romaine is up to speed enough to start (which you'd hope by now), I would do so - Allen as a 6, Sawyers as an 8, Powell as a 10. Tymon/Doughty give us a left foot (as would Fox if used on the left of the back three).

How do we think we’ll start given the information coming out today: Sima not in the country until Monday; Powell only recently back to training on grass.
Im hoping it will be:
Bursik
Smith Ostigard Souttar Wilmot Tymon
Allen Clucas Sawyers
Surridge Brown
