I've never heard of him but it looks like he had a nightmare at Huddersfield who put him on a bus to Boston United in the end. Demeaco D'Vaughn Duhaney is a fabulous name though, from Fallowfield in Manchester but I'm guessing of Jamaican origin. For what it's worth I would say the chances of this one working out well are as close to zero as makes no difference. And yes, you can quote me on that

Perhaps we can make some sort of guess now that Ince will be happily loaned out asap and any available money will be used for a winger or striker.

So presumably this means Ince isn't even back-up RWB when this goes through? He's probably more useful as 4th striker, he played in a 2 for Luton I think last season and did OK.

Obviously this is the cheap option (well second cheapest after promoting Coates) Collins money has been spent on Wilmot, Surridge and pay offs to the bomb squad Suggests either we are spent up or we saving any available £££ for a loan striker (or winger) Also suggests we don't expect any more outgoings (other than the youngsters going on loan) Bang on, he’s a cheap option hopefully allowing us to sign Delap or similar under FFP.

Personally, I would have coached Brown as RWB , plenty of energy. Not a striker for me , no goal scoring instinct or skill level. I know many see him as the messiah but he’s a workhorse not a goal scorer. Perhaps using that energy at RWB is his calling and bringing in a goal scorer.

Wonder if it's until January or the full 12 months?

I still feel we need a Fletcher type striker, none of the others are that type are they really?. Mitrovic looked a class above today.

Unless they have their eye on a player who might become available in January, I'm not sure what advantage there would be in signing Duhaney on a contract to January. The club's financial year runs to the end of the season so there would be no FFP advantage to replacing him with another option in January.

Brown was unusually off the pace today, looked very jaded. Can’t comment on that, but I would be surprised if he got near 10 league goals with 30 odd starts. Just not a goal scorer for me. Effort 10 +, but that’s it for me. Finding a lethal scorer or decent combination up front if the key out of this league.

Yes, possibly. I wonder if (although we cannot play him until January) Edwards is free to train with the squad after the MLS season ends in early November?

As one of your two strikers, surely his role is to be on the scoresheet and be a threat in the box? For me he does neither. So for all his endeavour he’s a 1 in 5/6 striker at best. Just not sure that works with a big man next to him.
