Tom could play in Europe this season. Does the Faroe Islands have a professional league?

He's a Stoke player so as long as he's on the pitch I'll want him to do well. Obviously I'm in the minority with that kind of mentality. Who doesn’t want him to do well at Stoke? I’ve read lots of people saying how ineffective and disinterested he’s been, not read anyone saying they hope he stays and plays shit.

there’s a good player in there somewhere I too think there is but unfortunately I also think there is a player who thought he would be playing Premier/Champions League football and hasn't really got the inclination or heart for the Championship. I was thinking about this last night. Now I’m not saying we’re a big club and neither are Derby but we’re a decent size. Having gone to Luton last season it’s probably opened his eyes up a bit about maybe it’s not that bad after all here and actually his career is only going one way unless he does something about it. I don’t think it’s a case of him not trying for us either, I just think he might’ve taken his foot off the pedal a bit - coming back after his loan I’m hoping he has had a moment to himself and thought I want to play at the highest level again.

If he stays, so be it
Of the 4, i would rather Vokes and Mcclean out the door before him
Would be nice if we could shift all 4 though

But if the plan is to play 3-5-2, it doesn't really matter if he's trying hard to get back into the team, there's just no space for him. O'Neill has tried a kind of 3-4-3 before though, so maybe that's an option?

Its obvious his attitude is not in question I've probably said this a hundred times but an on form Ince would be the best new signing we could make. I hope he does stay and makes people eat their words. We’ve said this for the past two summers. And I was his biggest fan during the Rowett spell. He'd be a better option on the left that Josh friggin Tymon or on the right instead of ..erm nobody.

Absolutely and potentially as a second striker whine Fletcher or an other Keep saying it but we will almost certiw tk spend money on worse if he left Just needs a goal or two and heel be a different player You either trust the manager or don’t and they clearly don’t see him as part of the bomb squad

Just in case you hadn’t noticed Benji, when you say trust the manager or not, MO’n didn’t pick Ince last year, in fact he buggered him off to Mad Nath- does that show him as trusting in Ince? He will do absolutely nothing for Stoke- it’s playing with a man down when he comes on. Perhaps he’ll recapture some form somewhere else- but he’s just a bog standard div 1 , low Championship player these days.

His stats tell you all you need to know. 31 goals in 100 games for Blackpool, 26 in 87 for Derby and 9 in 83 for Stoke. He has undoubted ability but has been stealing a living at Stoke. Time to move him on if possible.

Time to move him on if possible. The key words are "if possible", we have done well to move out as much deadwood as we have and I suppose we were never going to get rid of them all. Of the remaining three their standing in diminishing usefulness for the coming season is Ince, Gregory then finally McClean. I would rather we saw the back of them all but I suppose Ince and Gregory could play a part in the squad at some stage of the season. JMc on the other hand needs to go, even a long term supporter such as me now accepts the final planks of the bridge have been burnt, even paying up his contract would be preferable to having him in the building.

I hope he does stay and makes people eat their words. Personally I would be delighted to eat my words about Ince. I think his attitude stinks. He hides during matches. He constantly makes negative backward passes allowing the opposition's defence to regroup. He has had one brief period of success at Derby in his career. Aside from that he must have played for over a dozen managers who have not signed him (when on loan), moved him on, loaned him out, or simply dropped him. He must be close to the record holder in the Championship for the number of clubs he has played for. He scored against a L1 club in a friendly and suddenly people think he is a changed player. Sorry, I don't buy that.

Cut in from right centre and take a shot. Last season he couldn’t shoot for toffee. The only way he will become a success again is if he starts to find the target again (even if he just hits the target versus high and wide over the left post). He has little else about him.
