Its all going horribly wrong for Mr Levy's North London outfit. No trophies. No recent money making over inflated player sales that I've noticed. Unsettled star player. Can't attract a Manager! Not even Pochettina. Or Conte now. Mind you the field must be narrowing Michael.
I hate clubs from North London.

They're an odd one.
A few years of getting in the Champions League and all of a sudden they think they're some big I am.
In my lifetime they've never won the league and I can only remember them being in the race for one once, when Leicester won it.
And tbh until like 2011/2012 I'd have happily banded them with Everton and Villa. A club on the cusp of being able to do some big things but never actually doing it.

The only period of success that I remember was in 1961-62 when I think they were the first club to do the League and Cup double. And a few Cup Finals in the later last century.

Id say Everton and villa are bigger clubs. Just because they have a shiny new stadium doesn't change that fact. If kane leaves I don't even think they'd finish in the European spots

After Levy and his crony's waving goodbye to Palacios and Wimmer, then rolling around the floor holding their sides suffering from rib tickling mirth after shutting the door - I hope they implode.

Preston were the first club to do the double (back in the 1888/89). You are right though. You would have to be as old as me to have been alive the last time Spurs were a "big" club, despite their efforts to join the Super League.

It is all going wrong and they have managed to get a billion quid in debt building a new stadium.
The monumental ego that went into building that stadium is going to wreck their transfer budget for a long time

Surprised Levy got into this situation manager wise, nobody sacks their manager without having a replacement lined up except Stoke.

A great squad there also

Although their supporters ,like all London teams , regard other clubs as provincial plebs I’ve never thought them in the same ‘dislike ability’ league as their chums from Islington. ’

The story goes that Abramovich wanted to buy a London club- not necessarily Chelsea but the first one he spotted on his night time helicopter ride above the city. The kicker for Spurs is he flew over WHL but the stadium was in darkness. But then he reached West London, Chelsea were at home under floodlights....

Tottenham remind me of England. Got some great players, never quite establish the best system and always capable of throwing away decent positions

Think the infamous Barry Siddall air kick in the 80's they were in contention for the League, possibly runners up to Everton. But you are right in general they have done very little.

Bloody hell yeah, Barry Siddall's air kick was spectacularly inept. Wasn't it Crooksy who rolled in the gift ? Around 1986 ?

You're the odd one - some big you are not. In your lifetime they have never won the league so they are a bunch of no good nothings. How old are you? Apparently you're not old enough to know that you can check their history, before making a fool of yourself. They won the league twice, which is two times more than your club ever did. They also won the FA Cup 8 times which again is 8 times more than Stoke did. Granted they only won the Leaqgue Cup 3 timers more than we did. They also won the Euro Cup Winners Cup and Euro Cups 3 times. How many times Stoke? They were invited to the European Super League - not one that I am in favour of - because they are considered on the continent to be one of the big six English clubs - and because of the money in their tank. Some of that money is there because they have a very shrewd managing director, who has a habit of selling players well above their value. We're probably a valued customer of theirs, but we're not the only fools in Levy's net.
