This one is for my mate Jim Johnson who took his life on the 30th November 2011 and a life long foxes fan . Well Jim I hope you are looking down and chuckling . I wish I could chat to you about this but in Mental Health Awareness Week I thought that sadness and despair should not overwhelm you . Who knows what is around the corner

Many congratulations Leicester. How to run a club properly. One word and Arnie summed it up, AMBITION. Not just our owners though, the whole of Stoke run down the city and class us as little Old Stoke.

Leicester's key players in their uprising were cheap. They've spent poorly on a few big names also. Arnie a terrible example of a player, was about himself.

The "that'll do" approach to anything drives me mad. We accept sub-par standards in everything. Restaurants, bars, architecture you name it. For example, when we get another tin monstrosity warehouse for distribution it's generally seen as a good thing for jobs. We're too kind and accept businesses coming into the area, pillaging and destroying everything. We settle for second third/fourth best. And always a reason why something can't be done if it involves a tiny bit of extra work and thought. well done leicester.

Happy for Lester. Seems to be a great example of foreign owners who are genuinely invested in the club as well.

13 years ago we saw Leicester get relegated to League 1 whilst we celebrated our greatest achievement of reaching the Premier League... since then they are former Premier League Title winners and now FA Cup Winners.
Fair play to them and certainly envious of their success right now. Hopefully we may get similar experiences again....one day?

Their owners spoke about achieving European football when they took over and they've achieved it and more. Mark Hughes spoke on the coaches voice piece he did about his time at Stoke. It will be on YouTube somewhere. He spoke about the lack of targets that were set for him when he walked through the door, and that he had to set his own targets. Seriously, how poor is that? How can you appoint a manager and not really set him any targets when you are in the PL? That's the issue here. That's why we've drifted. That's why we shit ourselves when we were relegated and threw stupid amounts of money at a problem that was anything but about money.

Well done Leicester and everyone involved.
Thanks for showing what can be achieved.
Brilliant goal, two top draw saves, and the "best" VAR of the season for Chelsea's off-side.

Leicester are the story of not just English football but European football. Wasn't so long ago Leicester avoided a points penalty. Leicester are no doubt the envy of say Spurs at the moment , For every Leicester there are dozens the other side of the coin

Not just targets though, the people at the top have no clue how to run a football club. If they held there hands up and appointed someone in charge with knowledge then fans would probably respect it more.

Leicester sacked Puel after losing to Newport in the cup, despite beating Chelsea and Man City in the league around the same time.
We'd have given him the freedom of the city.

Their Director of Football has been at the club for about 30 years and his background was running the academy.
They also owe Mark Hughes a statue for gifting them Huth who then kept them up in 2015. That’s a Sliding Doors decision right there - if they’d gone down that year how different their history would be.

If we'd signed Morgan, Kante or Vardy I doubt they'd be congas in the streets of Trent Vale at the time. Be meltdowns on here, Bic razors at the ready and overdoses of Halib Orange

I really like them and want to see them win most games. Can only be a positive for the game and other clubs like us. If you live in Leicestershire (like I do) you really wouldn't think like that. I know far too many Leicester fans to ever be able to share in their success. Another similar club then yes but ABL (Anyone but Leicester)

Anyone with a shred of romance about English football has to have appreciated how much more that meant to Leicester than winning yet another trophy would have meant for Chelsea.
Well done Leicester, I wish it were us.

I do not get the stupid criticism comment they are quite happy to take the plaudits when things are going well so they should be big enough to accept the flak when things are bad as they have been for at least the last 5 years. They have made some dreadful decisions in the last few years so deserve to be called out on them. Local billionaire owners, I'm not saying their decisions of manager have been correct but they have fully backed every manager. if you have followed Stoke through the Barron years then you know ,even now ,we are privileged. We take the players, managers we want where as in the past any talent at Stoke was taken from us. We have no right to take Derbys manager. They are just as big as he as a club . Rowat had his head turned by the money for both signings and his wages. We blow all similar size clubs out of the water. Most supporters have never known us to be big hitters. Loose the Coates family and we will disappear for 20 more years. Rowat 🤣🤣🤣🤣 The issue is that money doesn’t equal judgement - the owners have failed simply due to the lack of self regulation and ignorance

The fact Scholes is even still in a job proves this. At a club like Leicester or wolves he would have been sacked years ago.

"Trying to penny pinch"? Are you taking the piss? Ambition my friend, we were sweet talking rafa at one stage even had him down the training ground numerous times, then we don't have the money or balls to give him what he wants. Go big or go Home in football, stand still and you go stale. Exactly as we did.
