On the showing of the second half of this season (the 1st not being too great) we're surely going to stuggle. I can't see many sides worse than us. Gouranga.

We will have players back from injury and hopefully some new faces but we look dire at the minute Still I bet Barnsley fans were worried this time last year

I think this team would get relegated from whatever division they’re in. It doesn’t matter how poor our opponents, they are always better than us.
Several of our players would be ineffective in League Two.

We are relegation certainties next season - this manager does not have a clue how to positively influence a game. If MON isour manager for the start of next season I am going to do something I've never done before - place money in the bookies in Stoke going down. His consistant use of certain players is bad enough but his substitutions are just bloody bizarre - how many games has he bought Sam fuckin Vokes on this season and how many games has he affected positively.

Relegation form for well over half a season and getting worse with each passing game.
We are certainties to be relegated next season unless we take drastic action.

Our 4 year slide continues, apart from a few months last season were fucking awful, the big question is how much further do we slide? Gouranga.

There is so little quality in this team that it's really painful to watch! I can hardly believe the quality of the crosses from players playing football almost every day! Not too long ago we were watching wingers like Etherington, Pennant, Arnautovic and Shaqiri, and now we almost just have players of league one standard! If we can't keep players fit next season we need to bring in more creativity and goals unless I really think we'll struggle to stay up. Another sickening performance, how much more can we take!

I'm not a knicker wetter but I just can't see Stoke out of the bottom half of the season, I'm just hoping that there's going to be 3 worse team next season. Gouranga.

What's all the fuss about get this manager gone he's out of his depth along with our CEO.

Just throwing this out there but... O'Niell to Celtic end of the season, we end up with our assistant as the new manager? O'Niell already putting the structure in place and the players know but can't say anything? Keeps his professional dignity and can be free to go where he wants perhaps?
Maybe I'm overthinking it but I wouldn't be surprised.

Correct we’re not going down this season, thanks to the points we got before O’Neill lost the plot in December. However the point of this thread is about our prospects for next season, and this group of players look incapable of winning many games at any level of professional football.

Not a chance we should be no.
Which is why sacking him should be a real possibility.

I like your thinking, but that means there would have to be a plan and I don’t think MON, the board or our players even know how to spell the word let alone execute it.

Jayus your on form today Unfortunately he is right though! Since Campbell walked off against Cardiff it's been a long and winding road! What happens in the summer will decide our faith I think, but we really need a shake up!

It’s impossible to say, isn’t it.
Only a fool would think there’s nothing to be worried about. A lot of the squad is bottom half Championship at best.
Equally, there’s players to come in and key players to come back. I don’t think we can look at the team we’re putting out at the moment and read into any tea leaves regarding next season.

It's the managers tactics and substitutions or lack of,and his inability to change a game that are the worry !!

Not a chance we should be no. Which is why sacking him should be a real possibility. Virtually all the squad (including our best player) out of contract at the end of the season, Campbell coming off an horrific knee injury, Doughty coming off the worst hamstring tear you can get, our only striker being 34 and looking worryingly spent in the closing months of the season, all the midfield being the wrong side of 30 or Jordan Thompson - and you don't think relegation could be on the cards, Bayern? I wish I had that level of confidence! I really think cracking the top half would be a bit of a triumph next season unless several rabbits are pulled out of the hat over the summer.

Yes but we'll need a lot more than them I think, we really do have a lot of ineffective players in the squad.
