Who needs doom-sayers, when we've got you lot as so-called supporters. No need to ask others to talk us down, you do it for them. Are you Stoker City supporters, or what. I take it that none of you have bought season cards, then? What a way for you to start a season. You're pathetic. I don't know what other teams supporters think of you when they come on here to read what we have to say. You're beaten before you even start. Rant over. I bow down to your greater supporter status sir... we all do I’m sure. We will win the league and FA Cup without losing a game, I don’t know what all of these guys are talking about, we’re the best team ever!!! Be realistic, you can support your team and know that in 2021 we’ve been the worst side in the league by far. Both managers, who we hated before this useless one we have now, managed to finish above us with teams that should be far worse than ours. Wake up. That was last season. Unfortunately for all the doomsayers we were never even close to get relegated. Now a new season beckons. We've got so much talent coming through. I can hardly wait for the next one to start.

Play-offs next season, or just outside. If we are lucky with injuries that might happen, if not it's going to be a very long season! ![8-|](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/rY_vRFLA3mqqdMbEG4cF.gif)

On the showing of the second half of this season (the 1st not being too great) we're surely going to stuggle. I can't see many sides worse than us. Gouranga. ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/ibnJJzaA6ZhfTOIekEAf.gif) Absolutely bang on the money The idiots in charge can’t/won’t acknowledge there’s a problem and in sunny Sandbach Cuckoo Land the Coates Family will carry on regardless and let it all just drift on by. I honestly think if we are to make any progress the Coates Family must sell up to give us any chance of future success, the decline is so entrenched it will never be addressed with the current set up and please don’t say “their money”, it proves that lesser teams can easily spend a fraction of what we have spent and make us look so average

We won’t get relegated. If mon bucks his ideas up maybe top half if not struggling bottom half and he can go then. He cost us loads of points last season with his negativity and probably confidence for the players.
Buck up or get lost

Season was dictated by injuries And mons negativity His negativity - I think others might call it oversized carefulness - was a result of the many injuries. He wasn't negative in his first half season here, was he?

We actually could have gone joint top at one stage before the serious injuries kicked in. We could only field what we had available was't a great deal for a good run. The defensive record was impressive considering. We fared well considering the long term losses we suffered.

Where's Benny Biscuit? Ok all you wimpy so-called fans- I challenge you: If you're so confident that we're going down, post your Fifty Pound bookie ticket on here. I don't bet, but if we get relegated, I will donate Fifty Pounds to the Oatcake's favorite Stoke based charity. You should get excellent odds right now and your money should be safe as houses, unless of course, you're all talking negative crap as usual. Shhhhhh. Don't call his name or he might appear, like beetlejuice. Boring and perplexing everyone with his inane cryptic psycho babble....

Tatta tarta There were games he should have really gone for against poor opponents but he set up too negative. I can take defeats but in the right manner. Injuries don’t help but also at one point dropping our best midfielder for one that could hardly run. Countless times bringing on the (wardrobe) to no effect. I mean who said he should have taken that penalty against Cardiff when he only just came on. Loads of mistakes. If he mon cuts them out we will have half a chance.

Let’s face it those draws could have been wins. Also most of the clean sheets were with bursik or Davies then he plays Gunn. Enough said

Maybe we couldn't afford one or there was no loan options available or wanted to join us Sorry Michael but that’s just not washing What would you have done differently. We could have gone all out attack but with no one to put the ball in the net we could have lost every game 4.0. Chelsea beat man City 3 times this year and its not by going attacking against them as they know they would have got battered. The other option was to buy a striker and gamble on promotion knowing that we are nearly in trouble with FFP and possible points deduction. We are at a stage where we are struggling to offer our best player a new contract.

I’m saying up to the point when Mikel came back cousins was one of our best performers then when Mikel took over he was shit up to maybe last few games of the season. Cousins is a average player but he was one of our best performers

Didnt we finish 18th or something last season when just considering 2021? So we weren’t the worst side in the league by far, though not far off. Things have to change this season if we are to attract any players when the majority of the team are out of contract in 2022. I’m curious, but not excited for next season.

Things have to change this season if we are to attract any players when the majority of the team are out of contract in 2022. I’m curious, but not excited for next season. Ideally we whould look to attract as few players as possible, apart from obvious weaknesses, such as we don't have a left winger (we have Doughty but no one knows if he's a perfect fit) in any of our three team groups. We have a decent rb at 18, but it could be 1-2 years before he is ready, so we could bring in someone there and get rid of Smith asap. We have very talented forwards, but none of them are your average 20 goals per season strikers, so our failure to get someone in that position for several seasons must be addressed. But other than that we should look to mature our youngsters with Powell and Souttar, who's not a kid anymore, leading the way. It could take a few years before that mission is accomplished, so some fans will have to temper their projected ambitions.

There’s more than one way to get wins I know but we set up that defensively if we had vardy up front we would have no chance. If you rely on 0-0 all you need is 1 mistake and you come away with nothing. I would set up like reading away can’t remember formation though. Good defensively and good offensively

Cousins is a average player but he was one of our best performers It takes time for older players to get back from injury. So it did for Mikel but once he did he was very good. In our situation with many injured players and the manager not trusting the youths, Mikel probably came back too soon and paid a price for it. He was never "shit", just recovering in the team.

Oh and by the way you need to higher your expectations cos Mikel was awful when he came back
