To be fair I've been bored of watching us for a while. Mad Nath spoke a good game and the Leeds game I thought it was the best we played for a while and his chest pumping was fun, but now its gone back the same as before. I couldn't care less to be honest. The club needs to build a fan zone when we're all allowed back to create a match day buzz. I've said since we were in the prem it should have been build behind the whole family stand/sentinel stand on the bank and installed steps with tvs, heaters, different catering and brew tents and invite different local companies each games.

I thought we looked miles better just by bringing Norton on! He looked hungry, pacy and strong, and most important of all he looked like a footballer with skills on the ball! Won us numerous freekicks and got into dangerous positions. If only a couple more of our attacking players could show these qualities! If you are good enough you are old enough is my take on this!

Yesterday was inevitable but I can’t get worked up by it. I don’t think the soulless feeling of an empty stadium helps, it’s just not the same.

I believe that football will be the biggest loser after this Pandemic has finished. Many sports offer a day out / family environment to attract punters, whereas football has relied heavily on habit and loyalty. That habit is now being broken, and football in general (at all levels) will have to work really hard to encourage fans back, especially given the overall poor standard of what's on show.

There was a good build up, and cracking goal, and the noise was deafening , the hairs went right up on the back of my neck..imagine 10k in the boothen, 20k ..you can't get that from the tv.

You are missing the point, we all know that a crowd generates a great atmosphere, I'm just saying that football is far from guaranteed getting those crowds back.

I don't have faith in any of them being done though.

Since last February,I've gone from being a season ticket holder for years, to watching the games on ifollow,to not bothering at all .sad really but that's how apathetic I have become.

There have been times this season where I’ve genuinely forgotten we’re even playing on a certain day.

Habit applies to lots of things in life. They have all been taken away from us and people have got used to it.
Personally I've been apathetic for a while now but the match is a 90 minutes sideshow to the social aspect. A few sherbets with the lads, talking gibberish afterwards, repeat the following Saturday.
I don't enjoy watching on the TV it's soulless , I genuinely don't know if I'll go back or just meet up with the lads assuming they still go. Money is tighter due to a shift reduction with the covid so I'll probably pick and choose if I go at all. Just go to the big games like Reading, Luton and Peterborough 😂

Absolutely, I genuinely can't remember some of our scores from earlier on in the season. I tend to have a different match on TV these days (more chance of entertainment) and follow our 'fortunes' on the matchday thread. I've found that Stoke are best viewed after a pub crawl.

It's the lack of goals and entertainment compared to the second half of last season. We've only managed to score more than one goal in four of our last 28 league games (3-3 vs Rotherham, 3-0 vs Luton, 2-0 vs Wycombe and 2-0 vs Bristol City). It's not the worst team or season on record as some have claimed but it's right up there with the Pulis binary season, Nathan Jones' first five months and Joe Jordan when it comes to draining the life out of you.
The defence has improved massively (46 conceded compared to 68 last year) but we look nowhere near as prolific (45 compared to 62 last year - unless we get a late flurry in the last five games). It's blatantly obvious what needs to be fixed over the summer.

Yes at this time that is definitely happening. It's not being helped by the lack of a crowd, that for sure, but the single biggest thing is the turgid football being played.

It’s been a shit 3 years in reality. Everyone is entitled to voice their opinions but wouldn’t it be refreshing to hear some realistic ideas on how to fix it? Sack yet another manager, that’ll fix it... it might, or it might make it worse, and who would come? It’s tiresome reading the same moaning on here lacking in any feasible solutions.

We’ve had realistic ideas since before we were relegated. Indeed upon relegation a complete root and branch overhaul from Scholes was wanted by most. It was realistic and definitely needed. The issues remain the same. Don’t blame fans for woeful management from the clubs owners.

Rowett is more responsible for the mess we are in than anyone including hughes, lambert and Jones. I wouldn't piss on that tosspot if he was on fire.
