We did defend excellently, but once we scored we sat in and ‘managed’ the game. I remember Gregory missing a decent chance late on but other than that we were happy to sit on our goal. I would expect Norwich to have most of the ball, I just hope we offer a genuine threat on the break. Something we haven’t been very good at. Thats how most teams win away usually if they go a goal up early on and if you think that’s shithousing a win we’ve won hundreds of games like that over the years with various managers. Norwich away under Rowett won 1-0 under the cosh for nearly all the game after an own goal for us 1st half Promotion season under Pulis at Norwich under the cosh then a late winner from a long throw after never ever threatening. Butland absolutely magnificent at Norwich under Hughes in the prem so it’s nothing new for us and in general in football Pissed it down the last time we played them away ....all day n all

Really big game this. Lose it and its starting to look like we're in free fall heading into a very tight bottom half of the table. Win it and it ends this crappy run and we can look up the table again!

Instead of sitting back and hoping for a goal on the break, hit 'em early doors with both barrels - Fletch, Powell, Clarke & (controversially perhaps) Matondo all on the front foot up top.
Then shore it up.
What have we got to lose?

Matondo seems to be well down the pecking order ATM, doesn't appear to be an impact sub☹️

This one has all the hallmarks of a regulation defeat.

I actually think that the set up today requires more of the same that we saw against Reading (yes I know) but with Powell back I’m in place of Clucas.
We can definitely nick this one 1-0 (they are struggling for goals and under pressure) so keeping it tight is probably approach hoping to hit them on the break.
1-0 Stoke today

I hope we can avoid double figures. Pretty sure that Fletch, Powell and Clarke would all be perfectly happy to keep it to a hat trick each music, dunner werrit.

.... I have a gut feeling we will get something from this game - at least one, maybe even three points. Feel welcome to reply when I’m wrong

M.O.N has been described on this board as an "Underdog Manager". Now that fans have accepted that we probably won't be promoted this season, have we actually established our status as "plucky underdogs" thus ensuring we can't lose. No one expects us to get anything at Norwich so anything we do get would be doubly welcome.

Expectations very low for this one (secret to Denmark constantly being one of the happiest countries on the planet) but 3 points would be lovely.

2-1 Norwich for me today. I think we will give them as good as we get but can see them edging it.
