Its a shame the football on the pitch says other wise. How so? We were bottom when he took over. So what , he’s now producing awful negative football that will have us closer to relegation than the top half , he’s clueless

Funny how all the young players coming through are praising O'Neill so much. Apart from Forrester allegedly. Thought he was unlucky to be subbed at half time and then disappeared out of sight, any idea what has gone on?

So what , he’s now producing awful negative football that will have us closer to relegation than the top half , he’s clueless I agree some of the performances have been dreadful and very frustrating. I personally think that most other managers in this league would have got relegated with this team and budget. MON is keeping us competitive and out of administration whilst maintaining a 40% win ratio. The last manager with a better win ratio than that was Gudjon so we average a win ratio of that standard every 20 years or so. Swapping this manager in this situation would be football and financial suicide. Unless we are bottom three by Christmas I'll definitely be giving my full support. I'm not suggesting I'm enjoying myself by any means. But the stability of the club is the main priority for me.

Derby went into Administration because Mel Morris saddled the club with huge debts to HMRC and other financing companies and then pulled the plug on them when the FA wouldn't turn a blind eye. The only money we owe is to ourselves of which the majority has now been written off/turned into shares. So what has MON got to do with that ? Or did you mean points deductions for breaching FFP ?

What has happened there? Looked a good option for us at one point 22 now He probably looked good as the majority of the rest weren't, went on loan to Northampton for half a season a year ago and never really got any game time, probably too small and lightweight

What has happened there? Looked a good option for us at one point 22 now I think he looked best as a second striker with Brown in games where we needed energy up top. The Hull game stands out, wasn’t that also his debut? He was screwed by JPB’s arrival, seemed to lose a step (or just get more found out as scout reports came in) and that was the end of him. Could he work in front of a powerhouse like Junior? Possibly. I kind of doubt it though.

I'm sure the new manager will give him a chance and work out if he's worth keeping.

I'm sure the new manager will give him a chance and work out if he's worth keeping. Pretty much - from todays presser: www.stokesentinel.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/stoke-city-live-steven-schumacher-9028799What is happening with D'Margio Wright-Phillips? Schumacher: I haven’t seen D’Margio yet. He’s finished his end-stage rehab yesterday I believe. He is up to speed and probably ready to join in with the first team group sooner rather than later. I've seen brief clips of D’Margio and again people are giving me reports of what qualities he brings but just right now he isn't with the first team group yet – but again, it’s a similar message, the door won’t be shut and if you can get in and train with the first team and impress, over to you.

Has the injury he had been really bad then? He's vanished off the edge of the earth in terms of first team action for 18 months or so now, is it?

Linked with Germinal Beerschot m.nieuwsblad.be/cnt/dmf20240129_97095574The Englishman D'Margio Wright-Philips should be the next winter transfer. Technical director Gyorgy Csepregi continues to search for interesting profiles. D'Margio Wright-Philips is the next player on the radar. Stoke City's 22-year-old wing attacker is the son of Shaun Wright-Philips Grandson D'Margio is a youth product from Manchester City, but was allowed to leave there for free three years ago. He chose second division Stoke City. In the Championship he played 17 games in the past two seasons in which he scored twice. This season he played for the first team for less than a minute. Wright-Philips has a contract with Stoke until the end of the season. It is still unclear whether it is a final transfer or a rental transfer.

Not saying he's the answer but its weird to me how quickly he was out of the team after MON.

MON wasn’t that bothered about his development (he preferred to loan JPB). AN probably couldn’t pick him out of a lineup and SS hasn’t put him in a matchday squad since he’s been here either.
