So excuse my ignorance but has any light been shed yet on precisely where the shuddering f**k he’s been for the past month or so? Wasn't it alleged that he was on the naughty step for being out on the piss before a match?

In the interests of balance, anyone who closely watched Wright-Phillips at Coventry away, would have seen a complete non-performance from the lad.
Wherever his marker went, Wright-Phillips seemed to trot after him, and then stand behind him, so that he was marked out of the game.
I didn't see him make himself available to receive a pass all game. You could see why the Manager thought he wasn't an established first team player yet, based on that no-show.
Perhaps that was a big factor as to why we didn't see DWP for a few weeks afterwards.

Agree with all of that Bayern, there was a moment second half when he trapped the ball and span in one movement, and I said to my little lad what a turn and he said it was like there was superglue on his foot then dad. Had to agree, we have a player there for sure because I don't think you can teach that it is a natural ability. You definitely can't. The only thing I think he needs to work on is a bit of upper body strength but not too much so it affects how he plays/runs. He's just the sort of player I like watching. Yeah could be possibly a bit stronger but hope that won't affect the balance he has with the ball at his feet.

To be fair Campbell did that until MON came and would be totally marked out of games as would wait for the ball to feet and not go to the pass making it easy for marker to step by him. Pretty sure he didn't score until MON came. He's obviously worked with Brown as well as looks a totally different player.

Makes you wonder what sort of deal we put him on back in Jan then, especially with Cousins making a reference to him being on much more of a first team contract now.
That tweets dated 28th, he won player of the month a few days later.

MON would be a great director of football, have always said that, he's a people person and would be good at selling the club...I think it's odds on that he will end up in that role moving forward.

I made this comment previously and was met with a chorus of “he’s got no experience in that role” and such like. I genuinely think he’d do well in such a role.

It's almost as if these lads who have played football daily for their entire lives can recognise that he is a quality manager at this level. Madness.

Just to be devil's advocate, it would be professional suicide to come out and say the complete opposite True but you don't have to be that complimentary either. There is a middle ground. And why would he extend his contract if he didn't like being at Stoke withMON? With his high profile he won't be short of suitors.

Sidibe. I suppose it’s somewhat natural. These players know what it takes to create a career, they have the contacts, they have the money for good diets and training. Opportunity begets opportunity.
