I’d say we are paying Etebo 75% Woods 0% Badou 50% Wimmer 90% Afobe 75% I don’t think we will pay anything towards Lindsay or Gregory. I’d say it probably saves us around 75k per week but the outlay will still be much much more. Just a guess though

TOB is being saved for the number 9 position. That slot has been taken by Jacob Brown.

Can someone please start a thread about Muslims on the EE board so Crapslinger has something else to occupy his time for the next 24 hours?

You do realise that there's a pandemic, no money coming into clubs, most football clubs are struggling for cash so there are very few football clubs that can afford these players! Unless you know better I would say our club is doing what it has to!!

I wish I could find that post from last season where somebody with a bit of a financial background said it’s more viable to loan a player than to sell them due to decreasing transfer value
Anybody?

Unless you know better I would say our club is doing what it has to!! Will the parent clubs of the players we have on loan be paying any of their wages ? this situation is self inflicted by our club, you do realise we have just paid £2m for Jacob fcuking Brown in a pandemic.

Would it not be more financially viable to stop signing footballers who have the wrong attitude or who are just shit that no one else wants on their books permanently ?

The idea is that the club loaning pays all or the majority of their wages ! in our case they don't, it's financial suicide.

Isn't it something to do with there being very little FFP advantage in a transfer because the fee is spread across the duration of the contract?
