Amen! I have said it before in multi million transfer deals you have to have a degree of due diligence and people challenging the decisions rather than just rely on the often emotive whim of the manager. At Stoke we have Scholes, no more than a bean counter and should be nowhere near evaluating the footballing ability of potential players. Jon Coates just a huge fan who is the chairman's son and has no credibility to challenge the manager on transfers. Then we have Peter Coates who always wants to back the manager often to the detriment of the club. In the Prem we were awash with more and could have afforded to try and recruit the best Dof in europe. We didn't we continued giving managers free unchallenged reins on transfer and making mistakes. Under the Coates ownership this is unlikely to change....sadly I bet Chris would love to come and work with the likes of Teflon Tony and Jnr. who knows? he did publicly praise they club last time we played them for all the criticism of those two (we can, & do debate, what is justified & what isn't) you don't hear ex managers slating the, quote the opposite

Well in regards to us, this must boost our chances of being able to keep RND for another season.

I thought the opposite expecting the manager to say something like all the loan players will be welcome back and start on a level playing field with all other players to convince the new manager they should be in the first team.

Why the fuck would we want Wilder as our manager?
We already have a better manager in charge.

Cant do with Wilder, his eyes are too close together. I love a bit of "irrational hatred". Yours is Chris Wilder, mine was always Billy Davies.

www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-9354567/Chris-Wilders-future-discussed-Sheffield-United.htmlChris Wilder was on Friday night in severance talks with Sheffield United after long-running tensions with the Bramall Lane board finally exploded. Wilder — already on the shortlist for possible vacancies at Crystal Palace and West Brom — spent Friday in discussion with the club after working relationships at the Premier League’s bottom side finally reached breaking point. Sportsmail revealed this month Wilder’s departure in the summer was inevitable after rows over recruitment and the state of the training ground.
