Considering the substantial investment in him, I think you will find most of us would put him up there. We aren’t talking about half million pound gambles here. The bloke cost us £9 million. His performances have generally been very very poor. A terrible signing. For the umpteenth time it was £7m + add ons based on promotion So £7m Now it's fair to say that's still a bad buy but nowhere near as bad as Wimmer,Imbula,Berahino. £500k for a striker? Just don't exist anymore. £7 million or £9 million he’s still proven to be atrocious value for money.

Surely we should be able to get him fitter? He’s only 31 but he plays likes he’s 35!

Either way its right up there with the very filthiest of our bad business in recent years. He's absolutely garbage.

I was also trying to take into account the level of football we are/were in at the time, aswell as any sell on value. As a Premier League club, we could afford to gamble on Arismendi, as a Championship club, we can’t afford £7-9 million on a cart horse drawing an astronomical salary over the next two and a half years.

So the people interviewing MON at the end of the game should be asking, "what does he bring to the team"?

It’s right up there in terms of bad value for money business.
Look at what Fletcher brings to the side compared to Vokes.
It’s night and day yet Fletcher was a no fee signing.
I will also add that without Fletcher, we look a far worse side in general.

So the people interviewing MON at the end of the game should be asking, "what does he bring to the team"? I guess the answer would be what choice does he have? He’s clearly last in the pecking order and only got on the pitch because all the other centre forwards are injured.

Pound for pound the worst signing in the history of the club? Unfortunately for us there are several above him. It just goes to show how bad our transfers have been in recent years

He cost £300k. He was dog shit, but at least we managed to swap that particular donkey for a thoroughbred race horse in Sheron so all was well that ended well. Somehow I don’t see the same thing happening with Vokes.
