That’s me laugh. Surely one of the most over-hyped players of the last ten years. A very good player but £100 million quid?
Also every England fan needs to stop this weird obsession with Gazza!

As he will spend 75% of the game camped in the opposition penalty area playing for Man City I can see a shed load of penalties being “won” with the way he plays and dives. He invites challenges and goes down whether there is contact or not. Would be a pretty safe bet to have Man City as being awarded the most penalties for next season.

Bloody hell. That’s just madness. Is he really that good?! If he is, I haven’t seen it. 60-70m I'd say is about right, certainly not 100

When you consider United are getting Sancho for £80 million.
Sancho is five years younger, has had the bollocks to go and play in Germany, and has incredible output in terms of goals and assists.
United are laughing.

Not gonna lie thought he was a bit older than 25 so from an age pov makes more sense for a big outlay. But still seems way ott for how good he is and what they already have.

It seems a strange one for me as they're going to have the same issue England have right now, him and Foden both produce their best when playing wide left, so one of them is always going to be out of position. Foden's future possibly does lie more centrally though so Grealish signing could help in that transition but that is all hypothetical currently.

Foden absolutely does not produce his best playing wide left... He's left footed and far from someone who should be on the edge of the byline swinging in crosses. His best position is centrally, either 10 or a false 9.

Grealish is good at protecting the ball and keeping it close to him. For this reason he gets lots of fouls, and the vast majority of them are genuine fouls. He's similar to Nick Powell in this sense. I'm not sure Man City is a good fit for him.

Aye it has been where he's had most success so far thats fair, but only as he's played there from necessity!

Good player yes, but not great, and not worth that fee. Sad thing is in that Man City side he’ll look like a world beater with those players around him.

Top clubs stocking up on English/homegrown players post Brexit, whose value will now soar.
That's why it needed to be £15m minimum for Collins because it has a knock on effect.

He won't stay at Villa. I can imagine that he's been told if he wants any kind of England career he need to be playing regular European football.

Because in that team I think he’ll look better than he actually is, and that will justify the massive fee. I just don’t think he’s worth that amount, or anywhere near.

United are laughing. £100m is an absolutely insane fee for Grealish, the lad is a decent player but for that fee he should be one of the best in the world and I don’t think he is anywhere that level, Man City already have better options than him. I’d be delighted if he proves me wrong though and leads England to glory this summer, can’t see it myself though.

Rice & Phillips are the first names on the team sheet. yes but they don't have competing English players in their position playing for clubs in Europe other than Henderson Mount,Foden & Maddison all competing for that 'number 10' role > or wide left Rashford, Sterling e.t.c. Grealish will have this in my mind as well as wanting to win trophies & £££
