Obviously a certain poster may not be posting on this thread anyway what have you been glaringly wrong about?I thought Dave Kitson was a perfect signing for Stoke City I Thought TP would never get Stoke promoted Martin Carruthers looked a fantastic signing Why has Macari signed that fat slow lump Overson? Rowett will get Stoke to the play offs at least there will be gajillions more no doubt

Jones will sort us out. Afobe will score goals for us. Dadason will score a hatful. Gerry McMahon will be a great signing for us. Can't see Walters being up to much. He was shit for Ipswich.
Non Stoke related. That Harry Kane is a right camel (after his Leicester loan)

Gerry McMahon was a great signing Why are we signing an injury prone, Southampton reserve called Ricardo Fuller? Appointing Jones will mark a change in our fortunes (it did - we got even worse!) We'll never sell Pesch when we are going for the play-offs The club wouldn't be so stupid as to not insure the Butler Street Stand roof Pulis won't play a back eight at QPR when we must win to stand a chance to reach the play-offs

Afobe and Ince would be perfect for us
Huth was past his best for us and didn't have much to offer (goes on to win the league)
Berahino would be rejuvenated after leaving west Brom and would do a good job for us
Brian Little will be a brilliant manager
Selling Arnie and replacing him with Choupo-Moting & Jese was quite good work
Steve Cotterill (jug eared twat)

In recent memory:
1. Thinking Rowett would be great appointment. 2. Thinking Afobe and Ince would find form (and again in pre-season). 3. Thinking that 3-5-2 would suit our players most.

Palacios will be an immense signing for Stoke City
That Geoff Cameron bloke had worked out well, let's sign some more Yanks
Why the fk are we still pressing ahead and signing this Rory Delap bloke now he's crocked?
And perhaps the biggest foot in mouth moment.
Oh shit!!! Not Peter Coates in charge again?

Started watching Stoke in 61/62. Thought we would have won the League or the FA Cup by now.
Beating Leicester at home in the 2nd.leg of the play offs was a formality.
Dennis Smith & Jimmy Greenhoff would play for England.
M Hughes would get us into Europe plus Win us the FA Cup.

Coates buying the club back and then reappointing Pulis.
I also fell into the trap of thinking Alan Ball would sort us out after the Mick Mills era went tits up.

Mark Hughes would immediately start signing overpaid overhyped nonentities while paying big bucks to dodgy agents away.... in fact it took him a couple of years.
Imbula looked really promising...in fact he was the first of Hughes' overpaid overhyped nonentities.
Diego Arismendi really existed rather than being an optical illusion that can be seen in Valencia once a century.

1. There's no way Charlie can score from that far back, what's he doing? 2. That Glenn Whelen really didn't do that much for the team 3. That Robert Huth was past it. 4. That Jon Coates would speak eloquently... 5. Stoke can't really stay up 10 years in the PL can they?
