Watford have lost to Man City and screwed up their GD advantage at the same time.
Villa lead Arsenal 1-0 at half time and if they can somehow cling on they are out the relegation zone.
Must admit I'd quite like Norwich, Bournemouth and Watford to come down, they seem like the most light weight of the relegation candidates for us to lock horns with next season.
(Cue a 4-1 Arsenal victory!)

Problem is Watford have the gift of playing Arsenal next
Can West Ham still go down?

Villa were much the better side against Everton and should have been two up but the late, arguably fortuitous, equaliser had the stench of a relegated team.
I think Bournemouth are likely to stay up 🤢

If tonight is anyting to go by, for a side that's at great risk of going down, Villa don't half play some decent football.
If that's the minimum standard, god, have we got some way to go!

I wouldn't fancy Bournemouth at Everton.
Villa have this habit of leaking late goals so need to hang in there.
Be ironic if Watford are relegated at Arse after Deeney's cojones comment. He was awful tonight.

Problem is Watford have the gift of playing Arsenal next Can West Ham still go down? They are on 37, with 2 to play, Villa and Watford on 34, 1 to play, WHU have a much better goal difference. Bizarrely the extra game WHU have to play helps Villa and Watford more as if they get absolutely smashed by Man Utd it starts to bring GD back into it. TBH WHU are pretty safe if they only lose to Man Utd by 2 or 3 as even if they get smashed by Villa for (say) 6, so AV move ahead on GD, they'd still need Watford to hit arsenal for 5 or 6 to relegate WHU. Basically as long as they avoid a record defeat (10 or 11 - 0) v Man Utd they are safe.

West Ham are playing ok at the moment and Antonio on fire. They'l be fine. Bournemouth's away form is dire and a point at Everton be a big ask

How the fuck did this rabble beat Man City the other day! What a bunch of half arsed lily livered fuckwits! Never broke sweat, something like 100m worth of forwards just not interested. Villa have cruised it really, never in any real danger.

When we were relegated I cringed at the likes of Bournmouth, Watford and Brighton managing to survive in the PL while we were going down. Well it looks like at least 2 of these are getting their comeuppance this season hopefully. Just a shame spammers aren’t joining them

Has Grealish always been that deceptively quick? Never really struck me before but tonight his running power, especially in the second half was impressive.

Brighton won't be far behind them and Burnley, Sheffield United and Crystal Palace won't be there forever. I just hope we can get back there and have another decent run at it at some point in the not too distant future.

Watford, quite literally being served their arse on a plate. Good on the Villa, haven't quite got to grips with the Prem this time around, you feel another year and they'll probably have a better go.

Get Watford relegated. How they're still within a chance of staying up is testament to just how poor the bottom 4-5 are in the Premier League. Them, Norwich, Aston Villa, Bournemouth and West Ham have been shocking.
Whoever's relegated will stay down. Not one of them bounces back.

If Villa stay up we might be able to offload Butland onto them as back up for a small fee. They were interested last summer. Doubt they still are though?

I think Villa's problems this season have probably stemmed from the fact that they were pretty average for a lot of last season and were promoted via the play offs after a great end of season run. In actual fact had we beaten them at the Bet365 in late February of last season we'd have moved to within a point of them in the league.

What a mess (for us) it's been since then.
