As a kid in the 1960s/70s my parish priest was a massive Villa fan and when I was an altar boy we used to have great Stoke/Villa chats prior to Mass on a Sunday morning. (I guess I should now apologise to all the parishioners who used to wonder why 8 o'clock Mass at St Gregory's in Longton always started late, especially when Stoke had been at home the previous day. ) Over the years I have worked with a few Villa fans who apart from the early 1980s have had a very "Stoke" like view in that they always worry that no matter how good things look at the moment tomorrow the wheels will fall off. My brother-in-law is also a Bluenose and has a very "Port Vale" attitude in that he seems far happier to see Villa fail than Birmingham succeed. (I have seen plenty of posts on his facebook page celebrating Villa failures but can't remember one celebrating a Birmingham success). Is it wrong to say that I will have a quiet chuckle to myself at the thought of him sitting on the sofa swearing loudly at the TV if Villa manage to escape? Think of me sitting on my sofa tonight laughing my bollocks off at blues if results go against them and they go down after all the shite they've been throwing at us all season 😂😂😂 UTV SOTC Hope it goes your way Staffs 🤞😁

Would love the villa to stop up, bournemouth and their odious score of a manager can go and Watford deserve everything they get. Thought stoke were doing well on managerial casualties but any club that sacks 3 in one season and the best one 2 games before potential relegation deserves it.
Watford players looked like they couldn't give a flying fuck about the season now.

I think Villa are very likely relegation candidates next season if they stay up. Grealish seems to be off either way. Villa are the club I like the most out of the bottom 5, so I hope they stay up, and I'm not saying that just to get a like from staffsvilla!
