He's no where bear the highest Ince,Adobe,Wimmer, Butland, Shawcross, Allen, Clucas,Diouf all on more or a lot more Not what I’ve been told tbf. Nowhere near the highest, wasnt well paid at Millwall and we were his only option. On elf the reasons we went for him was because he was cheap and free. But he doesn’t fit in a MON team and isn’t any good so we should get rid

It's hardly surprising he wants to stay, he's on about 20k a week more than he was getting at Millwall where he was supposedly one of their star players.
They've really struggled since he's left I see!
That goal should not change the fact that he's been bloody awful this season. Terrible signing.

Still offers more variation than Vokes. I suppose if we have pretensions of going up both need to go but I can't see anyone wanting either with the money they're on. Vokes will be on far more than Gregory.

Is Gregory anywhere near that, near that or more than that?

I'm fairly certain big daft Sam is on the Afobe £35K. He certainly won't be on much less coming down from the Prem. Gregory won't be on anything like that will he?

Good work rate the odd goal fairly cheap I imagine Good squad player Odd goal is right, 1 in 24 appearances before Saturday. I dont mind willing workers and warriors but we don't need 11 of them and on his wages at his age with Vokes a similar player and him wanting to sign another No.9, I can't see him staying

I'd like to see him and Tyrese up front together at some point-Gregory's not bad in the air, shields the ball well and makes a nuisance of himself, attributes which Tyrese lacks. They could complement each other well.

With all the rumours linking us with the likes of Cosgrove & Shankland you would have thought 1 of Gregory or Vokes will be going. You would think Vokes is going to be on a more lucrative contract and more difficult to move on. Although both can go for me.

Sheffield United got promotion with Leon Clarke and David McGoldrick leading their line - both players had previously struggled to hit more than 15 in League One over many, many years. So. You are saying that you would be happy Lee Gregory "leading the line" next season? Presumably you're aware that not every player we keep will necessarily have to be a first choice starter aren't you? If you want a player who's happy to sit on the bench as a squad player for a team who have narrowly escaped relegation 2 seasons in a row, has "quality" and scores more than 10 goals a season, you'll find them in "Cloud cuckoo land" just off junction 12 of the M-Nevergonnahappen

Mr I've never had it so good Gregory is obviously wanting to stay ... Who the fuck would buy him anyway? He's fucking hopeless. We need quality. Even on the bench. And if we dont then it's another season in the Championship. Somebody has got to be banging the goals in. Vokes, Campbell, Afobe and a brand new striker would be a good start. With Powell and Clucas chipping in. Gregory needs shipping out on a subsidised loan to Luton.

I reckon he can't have a worse season in terms of finishing.
Dont forget Berahino didnt score for 30 games in a row.
If Gregory can find his shooting boots then with his all round game I really like the guy.

Right now I’ll take any player that wants to be here.
Squad player but has the energy and work rate to be an asset

If the choice was between him and Gregory then I would go for Vokes everytime. You can only discharge a certain quantity of shit at anyone time. 😁

Keep him as a squad player for next season unless someone comes in for him with a sensible offer.

Gregory works ever so hard and keeps defenders occupied, but unfortunately he doesn't score enough goals. He isn't very strong in the air either so I reall think he needs to go. With Afobe back on his high wages we will need to reduce our weekly expenses too I presume?

If Gregory can find his shooting boots then with his all round game I really like the guy. He came to us after success at Millwall in the Championship ,where his goal tally was 77 in 238 games. It’s all about regaining form and confidence. There’s little doubt that he puts in the effort and hard work I think he fits the MON profile and our priorities in the transfer window are probably elsewhere Of course all players contracts will be under review re costs and reducing the size of the squad. Afobe returning may influence any decision to keep him

Can anyone remember the last time Stoke City had a player in list of top scorers at around the Feb mark of season. Its about time this record was fixed.

Another good game for Gregory tonight and another strikers goal. He's had a solid end to a funny old season.
Genuinely think he could be a useful option next season. Mobile, hard worker, occupies defenders and is starting to recover his goalscoring touch under MON.
