"Stoke were rushed out of the Academy very quickly indeed. United's officials didn't hang about – they had Stoke out of there really quickly as you'd imagine."
The state of that sentence.

It’s a good job the results of the tests hadn’t come through an hour later.

Who we going for? I'll say BMI. Or is it remiss to speculate?

I think this tweet is wide of the mark. I thought any person with the virus isolated for 7 days but those that are classed as a “contact” isolates for 14 days. Hopefully no members of the squad are classed as a contact.

So we're out of action until 23rd June and we'll have three days training until a massive game against Boro with no practice games?
How is that any fairer than PPG or null and void?
Would it be fair in a normal season to miss the first game, have a two week holiday and then go crashing into the season on the back of three days training against a side that had two weeks training, a couple of practice games and a proper match under their belts?
No? So why is it ok and good for the integrity of competition now?

I thought the entire club has to isolate a la what has gone on in Germany?

So as long as it’s Stephen Ward, Adam Davies or Adam Federici we’re ok then?

I think the French and the Dutch have the sensible rules. My rant might be incorrect and way wide of the mark in its context and content, but nobody will convince me what we are doing here is right. I just hope the player makes a full recovery, hasn't passed it on to anyone else and doesn't have vulnerable family members who are at risk. It's lucky the result came through when it did, which just highlights how silly all this is. An hour either way and who knows what might have happened?

From the EFL... Those players or Club staff who have tested positive will self-isolate in line with the guidelines provided by the EFL and only those who have tested negative will be permitted to enter training ground facilities.

So even if another 4/5 (or more) of our squad test positive we’ll still have a starting 11 and will have to fulfil the fixture against Reading, doesn’t make much sense to me...
