Not paddocks with seats behind but complete terraces.
Always a certain, how do I put it, 'frisson' about sharing these spaces with home fans as I recall
St Andrews and Maine Road spring to mind.
Cavernous bleak spaces often quite empty in places, leaving room for manoeuvre.
What about the 'Shelf' at White Hart Lane, stood there once, or did that have seats behind, perhaps more of a 2-tier paddock. It was rammed so a different vibe to Birmingham City say.
Anywhere else?
NOTE: I wonder who decreed that, in general, standing was an activity to be done behind a goal and sitting was to be done to the side!

The Vic had standing down both sides. Didn’t the railway stand have terracing?

Blackpool had the 'scratching shed', which has now been replaced by their permanently fixtured temporary stand...

The Molineux had a terrace on the side where the John Ireland (now Steve Bull) stand is. I remember standing on it in the 1960s. There was a time when 3 sides of the ground were condemned and you could only stand on the side terrace, which made for a really weird experience over and above being at a Wolves game.

I know it doesn't really count as a football ground, but Gresty Road had a terrace down one side in the 1970s to allow the fans to wnader to which ever end Crewe might occasionally attack.

Cambridge United maybe? But it was a tiddler. I recall standing there in the suffocating heat with stewards throwing water to us.
Wrexham the Racecourse ground when we used to swamp the place.

Why would we want to copy a practice regularly used at the Vale, where the fans spread out so that it is more difficult to see how few in number they actually are.
