It's Jones and Rowett's fault for filling the squad full of shit. We should have signed Gayle instead of all the lower league shit. and if gayle disnt want to sign for us? what then ? He would have come last season only Rowett insanely went for Afobe instead. He'd have come this season only Jones spent all the wages on lower league shit instead.

Seems like another Berahinio to me. He cant even get in the starting 11 at Newcastle, and has been left out of the squad half the season.

Awaiting almost universal disapproval but I'll be the one to say it. We shouldn't have got rid of Mark Hughes, at least not until giving him the chance to avoid relegation.

It is. He's binned off our two best players and stuck us in a formation that relies on one out of form creative player and a diligent but very average winger.
He refuses to play a 10 close to the striker, meaning the forward is massively isolated and has no support. Even more so when that forward is a fat lump who can neither win headers nor move.
He plays a midfield 3 consisting of a buzzing defensive player, a goalscorer who arrives late but contributes little in build up, and a 'box to box'er who has the tactical guile and footballing quality of a springer spaniel that's been lobotomised. Then he is surprised when we don't create anything.
Despite awful results, we showed under Jones that our best performances come when we play an incisive passing game with a genuine gameplan to beat the opposition. Against Swansea we pressed high to stop their possession game and pressure them into mistakes. Against Fulham we sat deep and narrow and then pushed the ball quickly to wide areas where our strikers ran in behind.
Under MON our tactics have seemed non-existent. It looks like a case of 'keep it tight lads and hope to nick one' rather than actually trying to do anything of worth.
It's been defeatist, cowardly shite, and I hope to god he changes when he makes some signings in January. I am significantly unimpressed so far, and I'm as apathetic as is humanly possible about the club.

He actually take us backwards now bottom at Xmas and utterly bereft of a plan Shape or positive intent other than to leave the best players out and tow the line , going to get very ugly over the festive season

You can`t blame any manager until he`s had the chance to bring in his own players and create his own team.
O`Neill has unfortunately inherited a group of low-ability, de-motivated so called footballers who don`t seem to give a shit about the team they play for.
Poor recruitment has got us into this mess not Michael O`Neill.

What we have now is the result of several years of decline and poor decision making. In that sense, the current mess is not MON's fault. However, I'm struggling to see anything that he's doing that is improving the situation. And he's taken us from nearly bottom to being actually bottom of the division.
