Apparently been injured, how do we feel about him going back into the side ?
Has to be on the bench first you’d think

He should never play left back ever again. We’ve looked a lot better when he’s not played.

2 games without him. 2 wins. 1 goal conceded.
Absolutely no reason for him to be anywhere near the team, particularly as BMI has played pretty well by all accounts.

If he plays and we lose, this board will explode!

Although BMI is a bit of a square peg in a round hole and isn’t really mobile enough to play left back in a diamond we have looked loads better because McClean can’t play left back at all. All season teams have either targeted crossing it from his side with all the time in the world and exploiting Edwards who isn’t great in the air or crossed it from our right to the back post where McClean is posted missing completely. It’s compounded further in that McClean was probably one of our better players in these early games and still couldn’t manage what was expected of him within the formation. The other noticeable thing is Allen seems a lot steadier too as he isn’t trying to cover left back within this dog chasing a laser pen routine.
If Jones takes McClean back in at left back then he’ll be risking the momentum we’ve currently got on a ham-fisted notion he’s had that simply and blatantly obviously doesn’t work.

If he plays and we lose, this board will explode! If he plays, and we lose, Jones will deserve the vitriol that'll come his way, especially if the winning goal comes from McClean's side!!!

Apparently been injured, how do we feel about him going back into the side ? Has to be on the bench first you’d think He played for Ireland the other week and was on the bench Saturday. Your just on a wind up to get people rattled about McClean. If he plays then thats down to the manage not McClean. How people can say we have only won because he has not played in the last two games is just stupid.

I don't think anyone's said it's the sole reason to be fair, but we have played two games without him, won both, played well in both and the guy that's replaced him has given a good account of himself. Why upset the apple cart?

Jones made a comment in his presser that Bruno was struggling after Saturday. If he's out it's pretty likely McClean will come back. Fingers crossed for Bruno.

Indeed Jones has actually said that it is his starting team of choice. The original post is factually inaccurate and the thread title is designed to start a bit of a kerfufal over McClean without any shred of evidence that he will in fact be back.

Jones made a comment in his presser that Bruno was struggling after Saturday. If he's out it's pretty likely McClean will come back. Fingers crossed for Bruno. His comment was that Bruno was ill on Saturday but he still played (despite McClean being on the bench) and played quite well. The illness wasn't specified but it couldn't have been much if he was allowed to play. in the first place. If Jones was desperate to shoehorn McClean back in shirley that would have been the perfect opportunity? The fact that he didn't speaks volumes.

Bruno was unwell on Saturday. He was not close enough to stop crosses being swung in the second half. He has much greater ability to challenge at left back and will not go walkabout as Maclean does. Hopping Bruno plays!

Bruno was struggling during Saturday not after, If Jones was willing to risk playing him even though he was ill then only injury will bring Mcclean back into left back.
