Denise Coates has absolutely no interest whatsoever in football including Stoke City. And also she looks nothing like Debby Harry😢

She should show them her bank account 😎 That just sounds like a euphemism. Scary thing is,the mental image is making me feel a little bit sick.....yet, a little bit horny at the same time

I can think of someone who would motivate them.
They would only need to see the shadow of his baseball cap approaching and they will be wetting themselves.

Does that actually happen? On the rare occasion I've been a few hundred quid up I was never restricted, although I've never used bet365. I decided to have a flutter on the horses and landed a couple of big winners. As I was a few hundred up I placed another couple of bets and won again with both. Pure fluke. I know nothing about horse racing. Next day, stakes restricted to £10, banned from all promotions and later the same day banned from depositing at all rendering my account useless. For a billionaire to treat a punter like that is disgusting. That's pretty shady to be honest. I'll keep my custom to Skybet, even though the odds are usually worse.

She should show them her bank account 😎 She should actually show them all the Mamba. Maybe seductively slap it on one or two foreheads in a semi serious, passive aggressive nature. If that doesn't work we know we're knackered. I'm thinking in the stylee of Amanda Donohoe circa 'Lair Of The White Worm..'

Can we not get Denise to come in and try to motivate our players via a sort of TED talk? Explain to them what REAL success is and how hard you need to work to achieve this. Maybe they will listen as she has more money than they will ever have. It's a last resort. We cannot keep changing the playing personal. It's unsustainable. Get Denise in and let her do the root and branch. She doesn't like football so would not be under pressure to go easy on 'some' personnel. PC and JC seem far to soft. We need to 'man up' throughout the club before we completely implode. We really are in a sad state. Maybe TED talk or alchemy our best hopes. It's not easy being a Stoke fan. Lol. Modern footballers at our level don't care once they get a fat contract. Only those at the very top, with a global audience, have some pride in their performances, along with those lower down who aren't simply interested in cash. We are stuck with the worst type of player and it's sunk many a club like ours.

From their pov tho they don't know for sure that you're not part of some syndicate with insider knowledge, races being fixed etc. Not looking for a row, bookies can behave appallingly towards their 'customers', I've been pissed off with them in the past myself. Just trying to look at it from their perspective.

I get that and if I was putting down stakes of a few hundred quid a time then fair enough, but I won just over £400 in total, having held the account for years and never really bet on the horses.

From their pov you could have set a few different accounts up and left them fairly dormant until the time was right, I'd imagine their biggest fear is getting done by organised coups. Sounds like in your case they got suspicious precisely because you'd never really bet on the horses.

You've no club without it, so be careful... There are lots of other people on earth with the money to own a football club. And my football team hasn't got a lot to do with whether or not I think gambling firms are ethically repugnant or not.

Denise Coates is an extremely astute and impressive businesswoman, she's built up an absolute giant at Bet365. Selling the shops to Coral was a good decision.
I have a friend who worked at Bet365 and who has interacted with Denise Coates himself. He told me she is sharp with employees and absolutely takes no prisoners, but we can see the rewards she has reaped for the business. He once had a service ticket come through IT to go and fix her printer, no other details given. When he arrived, he asked her if she knew what the problem with the printer was. Her reply was very simply 'shut up'. And that was the end of that, he had to work it out himself. He hated her, but you don't make that much money dilly dallying about. There is other stuff as well but I wouldn't be able to post about it. I'll leave to your imaginations!
Now if only Uncle Peter and his idiot son ran Stoke City with this much ferocity.

A former employee has just blown the whistle on practices over here in oz

To be ultra successful I reckon you need to be ultra focussed, and not very nice to boot. Recently attended an evening with Bradley Wiggins, he said that he did not like the person he was when he was competing. He was clear that the elite sportsmen (probably business men / women) are very often extremely selfish There is also the old adage about "looking after the pennies..." so I guess altruism will not be high on Denise's agenda Whether or not you agree with gambling, and Bet365 methods, it is undeniable that she has made a VERY successful business. Interesting to see John Coates named as Joint CEO yet we rarely (never?) hear about his salary or success...is it a 'nominal' role perhaps? I remain convinced that John runs SCFC solely to keep him away from Bet365 Oh for 10% of the business brains of Denise to be transplanted into the Potters hierarchy
