And it took only three from Wales to create such a storm I'm not ruling out Chris Coleman. Me neither. Nice and malleable.

Although u conveniently left out 13 % not 10, And there are a fair few names on the list AND He's in second so far far from none conclusive... Houghton is winning on 28% so really 72% dont want him either ... comon you cant seriously be employing logic of that delusion... I think you, toxic and the gang ought to start a TP Cult...... Pulis haters gonna hate and pull any stat they can from there arses to back up there own twisted views which they have mainly convinced themselves of whilst nobody else is really bothered. Its kind of funny cos its the same old bullshit from the same old names ;-) .... Talking of old names, what was yours before you re-registered? First time account m8.

Time has passed by TP and us. I rather be relegated than go back to the same old.. there must be a reason he's still unemployed as a manager. I'd suggest this is due to him been in a position where he can to a degree pick and choose. I'm sure his stock as a manger is still quite high and that a few Championship clubs and Premier League relegation favourites will have one eye on his situation. Yeah? Which Premier League relegation favourites?

Quote: I was still fuming but I'll always remember what my old kit man at Bournemouth said: "always pick your best team'. Valencia????? Best team??? totally agree the guy is a bare faced liar, what is it that people just don't see, him and Bojan seem to have a spell over some fans who just dont see how past it they are

It does appear that could be a possibility. If they do change the manager I agree there are a lot of worse options. That would be Scholes out of the door aswell you would imagine. Identifying players the DNA way π and who can argue it doesnt work. Almost all of the iconic names bar a tiny proportion from the past 10 years have been TP signings, imo. No coincidence our signings/transfer policy turning to shit coincided with TP leaving stoke So blinkered

What on his arbitrary list in which he speaks for all Stoke fans? Hereβs the thing. Pulis did a magnificent job, heβs one of the best managers the club ever had, the good times were among the very best Iβve ever had. But heβs also a manager entirely set in his ways who canβt adapt or evolve and will never change and who ultimately lost the plot and was deservedly moved on when the time came. His recent forays suggest his powers are on the wane and the game has moved on. What I want us to do is try and be a bit forward thinking like some of our peers, but we just hardly ever are. This appointment was an attempt to change that and it would be a shame if its failure sent us cowering for a comfort blanket that long term could set us even further back and completely torpedo any hopes of building anything more lasting and long term. Yeah, I get what youβre saying. I arenβt convinced itβs the answer either, Iβm still really hoping NJ can pull a rabbit out of the hat. It just frustrates the hell out of me when stoke fans treat TP with contempt & hate (not you). Heβs the clubs most successful manager in my lifetime & the way people speak about him on here is incredible. I agreed that it was time for him to go when he did, because a lot of people, including me had become bored, which sounds incredibly ungrateful now. For me, he should have a statue built A fucking Statue your having a laugh, build a statue how dare you put him along side Banks and Mathews,i will give you he is the most successful in your lifetime with you been a young pup compared to us old gits but statue not a chance.

So the twat saves us from relegation (which won't happen) what next ? do we sack him or do we go through the same old shit we went through last times, see loads of people saying bring him in to save us but what happens next he cannot go on for years just saving us, surly we want to progress and that won't happen under the twat in a cap

Question,do you want Pulis as manager ? Answer,13% say yes There are 3 votes - so if I were to vote for any manager and 2 others as alternatives you are including those 2 votes as votes against that manager becoming the next manager. A simple name your next manager vote would surely produce a definitive answer.

Doesn't matter what some think, the coates' have realised how much they have blown since TP left and how much TP earned the club.
Only a fool would continue in the same vein and twist again if jones gets the boot.
People who really dont want TP back at the brit (a small minority it seems) had better get behind jones, support him until the day of his execution and hope he can turn it around. TP 3 'the homecoming' is on the horizon π

Looking at our squad, Im trying to work out whether we need some sort of specialist with great talents of motivation, organisation, gravitas and tactical genius (like TP, Moyes, Allardyce)..... or actually, as the next step, we just need someone who is half way competent, who can get results in this league? After all, Jones's core problem is his one trick tactic book and evangilical half-baked philosophising aren't enough for this division. Let's remember that we won more than we lost under the underwhelming GR.
So, if we had any of Adkins, Monk (hypothetical now), Pearson (etc), it basically wouldn't make a lot of difference. Like GR, they are better than bottom 3, and that's all that matters here and now. Not forever, just now. Or are we so far gone that we really do need some sort of saviour figure.
